I've been working the family genealogy for 30 years and found that 140 years ago, my great-grandfather's brother lived on the same street I grew up on. So I checked the address at city hall (they changed the street numbering system in the 1920s) to see if it was close to the house I grew up in. It wasn't. But it WAS the same house I owned and lived in for 10 years, further on down the block in the 1970s. Some coincidence. When I lived there, I kept hearing a child crying upstairs but when I'd go up there, the crying stopped and my kids weren't in the house. Then I found that this distant relative had a 7-year-old daughter who died in that house in 1867 of diptheria. Goosebumps... Anybody got any good "ghost" stories??? Awards
