I have one of these so I tried it to game, but it's too hard to think about all those axis on one hand. I don't have that much cordination. BUT, it's amazing for 3D art and I couldn't live without it.

For gaming I use a G500 (mouse) and am hoping to get a nostromo in the near future.

 A Belkin N52te game pad.

Same here..... I've had my N52 for over 3 years (it was sold as a "Nostromo N-52" back then, but the same thing).  It kicks ass, I love it love it love it, and you'd have to pry it out of my cold dead hands.

The best part is, I don't have to sit up & hover over the keyboard..... I lay back in my comfortably in my chair, prop up my feet on a stool, and hold the N52 pad comfortably in my lap, while mousing with my right hand... a VERY comfortable way to play if you have a bad back.

I've dropped it & played rough with it and have worn the numbers completely off the keys (they are smooth & shiny now lol) , it's never missed a beat.  I *highly* recommend it.

I don't get how you would use the thumb stick on that pad.......I may have to try one out.

I had a Saitek Cyborg a while back that I decided to try.  I never got the hang of it and it ended up sitting on a shelf for a long time.  I ended up throwing the thing away.  I love my G15 keyboard and MX518 Mouse.
