I had thought for sure that the first one would have been out a few weeks back. But when problems arise they must be dealt with before the maps can roll out. Right now I am struggling with minimaps and loadscreens on both maps. Big Daddy Labob had stepped in a while back to help me out, and hes been a real blessing for me, taught me quite a lot actually. However when hes not available and I run into issues which I seem to have my share of them, things tend to crawl by instead of fly by lol.... I have been trying all day today to get a map out this weekend, but that MF'ing minimap and loadscreen are RAPING ME. Its a learning curve and damned if its not a real bumpy curve. The maps names are set however they are: mp_hidden_valley & mp_simple_city / when I get it right and just get ONE of these to accept the stuff both maps will roll out, because if I can get 1 to do it, the other will follow suit. Niether map has any errors in it, SC did until today which I found the cure for it so that put me where I am right now with 2 maps damn near ready to roll out! I had to put map 3 on hold for a while, but I'm still doing a little on it here and there, and most likely be at least a couple of months before that one gets close. Like you said Labob, sometimes you gotta back off & come back to it later.... there has to something I'm not doing right or a step or 2 lol that I am missing, its not hard to make a targa that only takes seconds, an iwd not hard again seconds to make.... the iwi I think is where the problem is, I keep getting missing cache when converting, mine never shows the conversion like capts does.
