Put the roast in the slow cooker on Friday night and let it cook for about 18-20 hours. Here's a little tip, if you use Pilsbury thin crust pizza dough from the tube. Roll it out just a little but and cut it into thirds for the larger, meal-sized ones. I cut mine in half and had a lot of extra dough. Also, if you don't want to dip them in mustard after they're done. Try taking the liquid the meat was cooked in and thicken it with a roux or a slurry of cornstartch and water. You might think about using a stronger beer. After cooking it as long as I did mine, you don't get a lot of the beer flavor. Otherwise, the 4 I made are gone and there was still enough meat left for pulled pork sandwiches. Awards
