That makes a difference. I'll bet you could hit 5gig if you water cooled. I have this card and put it in to test. It got just under the 640mb/sec read so I went with the on board for now. I'm gonna buy a battery for it and that should almost double the access time. But they are expensive. I have a friend that has a 512meg card like this in his server. I'd like to talk him out of that but he aint bugging on price. http://www.ebay.com/...=item35bbe7b0f0 Yeah those Ivy bridge really need water if your going to be pushing 5Ghz as the temps start going insane the nearer you get,but im happy with what ive got.Ive not tested the access time on the ssd yet,thats something i'll have to do....out of curiosity.Its strange how youve already got a killer machine yet you want to squeeze every liittle bit extra out of it..All good fun though Awards
