A friend at work bought a couple of these for his kids for Christmas, and they are having problems with apps.

They can install an app, and it will work, sometimes for a couple runs, sometimes just once. They have to uninstall and re-download and install it again, to use it again after just a day or two. I sent him a message on how to check for a firmware update to see if that will help. But other than that, I am finding nothing on the net, aside from the company saying that not all apps will work on the device.

wondering if anyone has one of these, and if you got any idea what else might be going on. they have 2 of them doing the same thing.

it's a :

nextbook Premium 8se   ver. 1.0

it's an adroid e-reader, not sure which android os is on it though, told him not to bring it to me till I found something useful to try.

any help would be appreciated as these things are not really in my category.

I have one, and it's great. No problems with it at all. I would suggust that they sign up to google and download googleplay app. That's where I get most of my apps from. Tell him to also download a anti virus app for them. I'm using avast on mine.
