Windows Vista. PCU: Intel i5-3570k @ 3.4 GHz 850 W power supply. 1.25 Terra bytes of hard drive space Now i thought this would be enough to power BF4 at max settings however it's a little short only running on "High" not ultra. Which is upsetting. SO what should i do to improve performance? I'm looking for the best bang for my buck. I'm thinking just a GPU upgrade though Nvidea (which im a long time buyer of) seems to be a bit more expensive when i could be getting the same performance for less elsewhere. Any suggestions?

Could just be me but only my opinion. As for cards wait another month and see what nvidia comes out with to trump AMD's new releases. Then if the next gen isn't your thing the older models will lower in price. Awards

What I ended up doing is purchasing two Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 video cards with 2048MB GDDR5 memory. These are the overclocked Windforce units. My purchase price was $249.00 US. Two of these cards should run Battlefield4 in Ultra adequately. We shall see! You can spend a thousand on a single card and not come near the performance of having two at $500.00. Good luck!

Also, you need to check your video slots to see if they are PCIe 3.0 slots. Yours may be 2.0 or 2.1, and although the 3.0 cards will work in the 2.x slots (reportedly without all that much of a penalty,) it's worthwhile determining whether it's time to upgrade the card, or the whole system. Think im just going to focus on getting the OS upgrade to 8.1 or 7. Hopefully that will give me the little boost im looking for to keep things running at max for a little while longer.
