Every year there is a televised charity fund raiser called Children In Need and all proceeds (every penny) go to childrens charity's here in the UK you name it if its a childs charity they can apply for the funds that are raised. Well this year the Great British public donated over 33 million pounds which in this time of hardship for many is an amazing effort. And one of the Charities that benefit from this is very close to my heart it is a Childrens Hospice called ZOE'S PLACE that is just up the road from where I live. I got involved last year through work and we engineers go there at least 3 times a year on our days off as a team to help maintain the gardens and buildings. and some of us go there at least once a month to do what ever we can to help. The work they do with Children who have very little time left are Amazing and it does not stop there they help the families after the child has passed away and support them for as long as they need it. And here is a pic of me and the guys from August Unfortunately the little boy in the Picture passed away 4 weeks later but he Laughed everyday up till that day... the staff are amazing people Sonovabich, eidolonFIRE, Onyx and 2 others 5 Awards
