nice welding    if was me I place plug at lowest point of pan  to remove all fluid and clutch dust

cool idea with them holes   may have to cut down wider part of pipe taper  on plug  so  holes not leak for the outer edge seals pipe plugs

the plug tightens up 4 threads before those holes, so no worries there.  was going to get a skyjacker deep oil pan, but work has been slow and need watch spending. so i had that bung and plug w/magnet setting on the shelve so used it. but the pan is on my list for later.

that's a steel pan btw, not aluminum. but i agree welding aluminum is harder. i got steel and stainless down pretty good, but aluminum i still need work on.

went to welding school and did all kinds of welding but never got to do TIG before i left.  picked up a TIG last year and love it!
