In you cod2 folders I think in the mod folder in what ever mod you were compiling it in theres ussually an error file. Select everything in it delete and recompile. You should have a new error file to look at. Ussually the compiler tells you which one. But if I was to guess at what it might be you were playing with the terrain patches and 1 they started to come apart so to many are no not touching each other. Or you have exceeded the maximum amount of vertices in a map. But to give an answer (guess) I would need to know a number ussually a square 32,000 or 64,000. If you see that number somewhere I would try making some of the patches detail. Select some patches and right click in the 2d window and click make detail. The same would apply to the xmodels in the game I do remember maxing them out (grass and flower I remember that true? ) select as many as you can and make them detail as well. Seems to make the compiler not count it. I do have a habit of making all my maps big. An easyer way if your good would be to portal the map. I can't make heads or tails of how to do it but you have the knnow how or it might make sence to you. Portal the map into 9 squares and the game won't compile or render it all as one. Me I make alot detail same poo poo.
