Shiny's not speaking to me at the moment but she's coming round slowly.

However the Queen has asked me to keep an eye on her rebellious subjects and I am only too glad to do so. Only the other day I visited two dogging spots, a girls school and hung around a beauty parlour while the bikini waxing was in progress, Rob will not be deflected from his patriotic duty, and tomorrow armed with my new binoculars I intend to watch the local hospitals nurses changing room in case there are covid misdemeanours. Be assured, as soon as it's warm enough for nude sunbathing again Rob will be out on patrol. Yes the Empire is safe in my trenchcoat, I will not expose it to any dangers.

I understand that u did that today? If so, did they keep their mask on? An easy way to know if you don't have powerful enough binoculars, it's to spot the hairy triangle (as I heard that English nurses are often bearded ones)

@Chris Whoomp, there it is!

Yes we have lots of good male nurses too, are there no male nurses in France? In my experience male nurses are excellent, very professional.

But the hairy triangles are far better in the female changing area, oh I get it now, in France you have mixed genders, we're sticking to male and female now we're out of Europe.

6 days bye bye, won't be back and our fault we were fooled into it despite never joining it thanks to corrupt politicians, not giving us a vote to join.

I'm not sure it is true, as well from a geographical point of view as an historical one, cultural one, ethnical one, economical one, and so on, one... So told me my Scottish friends ;)

We only would like to be able to go and visit one of my sons (and his girlfriend) who lives and works in London, as well as my brother in law and his wife (an English woman) who live and work in Oxford, without a visa. But I am afraid that it will unfortunately not be possible anymore... :( Writing that sipping at my earl grey.

You are right. You have some great liars, starting at the top. But which country doesn't have the same? Is it a valuable reason to separate peoples who have common interests?

This is getting to be the politics column lol. Firstly we do not have any common interests, we were conned into joining a common market, then conned again into a federal Europe which we hated. Do not take this as racist but we think of Europe as a nice place to visit, but an awful place to live, and worse for years we paid most of the bill. The average European mentality is not that of the UK, and despite the rubbish coming from the SNP I don't think it is in Scotland either. For an awful long time the people wanted out but our politicians kept us in, but apparently democratic votes do not count either in the UK or in Scotland (who voted to stay in UK).

Good luck in the future with your ultra socialist policies, open borders, non elected rulers, 24 languages and building the infrastructure using your money in the poorer countries who will probably leave too, there's no fool like an old fool. Despite being an entity and a power for many years there is no defense force, no central rules and policies, no allegiance other than your own country and 24 languages who refuse to speak in one, however the lawmakers spew out crazy laws and rules which are not obeyed nor enforced so are useless.

Good Luck, you'll need it.

OK Rob but what about facts?

Around 400 000 British people reside in France

in Scotland (who voted to stay in UK)

In poll, 58% of Scots now say they are in favor of their region becoming independent from the UK.

And when they voted to stay in UK, it is because they were told that they would be kicked out of the E.U. (not Europe since UK will ever be part of Europe lol) if they were no more part of the UK (lol again).

As for the future of E.U, Rome was not built in one day but good luck to you as well, being alone to "discuss" (the world being what it is in our time) with China, the USA, Russia and so on.

Having so many languages is not only a difficult, it is a cultural wealth spread all around the world, as is the wonderful European culture as a whole. NB: with the technological progresses, the language barriers won't be such a problem in a near future.

I am French but my father is German (as is, in part, the British royal family :yes) and I feel firstly as a French guy, of course, but then as European and anyway a human being on a very little and fragile planet. I am not naïve there but optimistic.

In the end, if we can't live more openly on every level (political, economical, cultural, religious and so on), I fear that the Humanity will not have a bright future or no future at all.

In this way, one can see the brexit as a kind of regress but we know, don't we, that history is not linear and has its "hiccup".

We can agree that we disagree on the matter but even the best friends don't always agree. Do they?

How many Brits live in France? -FACTS

The French Labour Force Survey estimates that on 1 January 2016 there were 148,800 British citizens living in France while the latest French INSEE census estimated there to be 151,800 British citizens living in France in 2014. According to the 2014 census 43% were between the ages of 15 and 54 while 46% (almost 70,000 people) were 55 or over.

There are similar numbers of French citizens estimated to be living in the UK. Data from the Annual Population Survey from 2013-2015 estimates that there are 154,800 French citizens living in the UK, however the majority of these (79%) were estimated to be 15-64 years.

A very high percentage live in France because of property prices

Fucking yea, the polls said the remains would win and pro Brexit parties would win, bollocks as usual, there is a huge present Government majority to get out of Europe, tough shit Scotland you should (and rest of UK wish you had), voted to leave, too late now Jock.  They're not getting a vote every year until they win lol, it was made clear this was a once in a generation thing.

What you may not realise abroad was how they tried to rig the vote, once it started you remember the people of the UK (residents) were voting for their future let me tell you who they allowed to vote :_

Any Commonwealth citizen in the country, the Irish (Eire pro Europe), and a few others, if Scotland had voted for independence (therefore no brexit vote) there would have been a huge majority to get out, this was reflected in the recent parliamentary voting.

You still don't get it do you, we do not and never did want to be European, although we are currently best friends we have also been the bitterest of enemies, when the going gets tough the tough get going and I'm afraid Europe has let us down in recent history quite a few times, we do not forget that easily.

We wish you all the best, keep sending the wine and cheese but remember if we can buy them elsewhere we'll do that, still love you and Frenchi though.
