When I retired after working there for 35 years If you could give a younger person career advice, what would it be? Get a education, and find a job you like!!! A lot more wishes... lol.. but actually If I could only get one would be for World Peace, and... money enough to help all the homeless, starving people and to be able to take care of all the pets and stop animal cruelty (can't pick just one) If you won a very large amount of money what would you do? Share with my family and church... give to my local pet shelters, and help the less fortunate... save enough to keep me comfortable the rest of my life -------------------------------------------------------------------

One of my favorites is in season. They taste soon good with their earthy, nutty delicate taste. What's also great is they're easy to identify, so even an Idiot can safely forage them. The scent is fairly of Apricots. They last a good week in the fridge. There's so many, I preserve them for later by slicing, briefly sautéing for a couple minutes then freezing. They last a good 6 months, which means you can enjoy them with steaks, omelets, make the best cream of mushroom soup, all the way through winter. Just verify the flesh is white & pulls apart like string cheese, to differentiate from the poisonous Jack-o-Lantern mushroom whose flesh is orange.

love Morel mushrooms. I've got a few good spots that I pick them out near my grandmas old house. Up on the steep hill side in the woods above the old barn. As much rain and humidity as we have got so far this year, there should be quite a few. Last time I was up there I got enough to completely fill 2 big 2.5 gallon zip lock bags. Took about 4 hours but definitely worth it.
