Kush, when I suddenly found myself looking at dating again after 28 yrs of unhappy marriage I couldnt understand women at all as far as what they wanted from men. Bama are you the primary pc that the connection is run thru? If so it may be a driver to the modem or maybe it is going bad on you! Check that and see if that may be the problem! Hope it helps!
