As a child growing up I was seemingly gifted with an ability to use descriptive terms so people could instantly visualize anything I wanted to be very clear on of what I was saying! When I was in my senior year of high school I took a creative writing class and very rarely did any of the assignments but the alternative was to write a poem instead! I wrote one on a morning when everything seemed to be going wrong and I was rushed , in about 2 minutes! The instructor made a comment in big red letters when he handed it back "This took a lot of time and effort!" I laughed but kept quiet! These days most of you know my situation, but I never told you I met someone who I have developed an intense relationship with. A couple months ago I sit down and wrote the following poem depicting my search for her! She is beautiful and very loyal and also to my surprise which she didn't tell me when we met was she is also quite wealthy! When she told me that I told her I didn't want her money but I was after her heart! She just smiled and told me she trusts me with her life! I was WOW. I have never been told me that before! Anyway the poem. Enjoy! She told me she cried when she read this!
THE DEEP RED ROSE!!!
As I walk through my garden of beautiful flowers, there are blooms of red, white and blue.
There are yellow, pink and purple and like the rainbow many flowers of a variety of hues.
Every one of them are beautiful and lovely each in there own right but none, no none of those
Had the appeal and the aroma as the most magically alluring of all flowers my dark red rose!
I have looked both high and low, over mountain and in the deep set f island coves
Never to find the flower that steals my heart and draws me to it like cooing doves.
Then on one delightful morn just as I was about ready to concede in my search
There in the valley on a knoll I espied her sitting there like a canary on her perch.
And the song she sang was so beautiful to my longing ears of my heart I cried.
Because there was the sound in my ears of my heart, but I thought it had died.
To my amazement this beauty that few eyes have ever seen was my deep red rose.
I was afraid to touch her lest I slay the moment then she cried, Take me and heaven knows
I have been here all these long lonely years waiting for you to come and free me from my roots
And give me my freedom to experience what you have to give to me the love of loves.
Now we can fly away forever more you and me on the wings of white love doves.
I have no want or need of pleasure or sensations as you give me it all with a single touch.
Your breath gives me life I had lost and your beauty has my heart in awe just as much.
I wake in the morn and the first thing I do is feel to see if you are definetly, undisputebly real
Because of you I am alive in my soul again and this wonderful love I again am able to feel.
Love is a fleeting emotion but when its spirit bound it grows and adheres to each heart
So that the two hearts beating unite to become one in mind, body, and soul.
