I bought COD2 right when it was first released in October in 2005. We lived in the country at that time and only had satellite internet which was too slow for online gaming. By the end of 2006 we lived back in town and I had been playing it for about a year as single player. My son who was then 16 talked me into trying out some online servers so we could play together and as I recall he was the person who pointed out XI to me. I played for a few months and Loader sponsored me for tags, then the web site address changed and I wasn't aware of it until almost a year later when I was dropped for inactivity on the web site. Needless to say communication has improved greatly since then and I've been a member ever since.

I am very offended and think this thread should be moved to the political forum.

It was locked because some people were getting offended that it had a couple political comments. Correction, it was deleted because one particular person made some really offensive comments that pissed off a lot of people and one of our members left because of it.

Swiss, I came around after you stopped playing on COD2 so I don't know you or anything about you. As far as everybody in this clan is concerned, Rugger is XI. We know that other people were involved in the beginning but they're all gone and he's still running things like a well oiled machine. Yes we have a process for former members to be approved for tags regardless of who they are. When my laptop shows connected to the internet but I can't connect, my wireless modem is sending a signal out but the signal from my ISP to the modem is gone. Try unplugging the modem for a few minutes and restarting it. A quick on and off sometimes isn't enough. Also try what Hxtr suggested and hook it up with a wire and you'll have your answer.

We try to let everybody win every once in a while, otherwise they never come around. Hell we have Viperz convinced that he wins most games because he's a really good player.

We humans are such short sighted creatures. We only think in terms of our own life spans. Yes we are horribly destructive to our own environment, but at some point another catastrophic event will happen that will wipe us out like so many of the millions of species that came before us, and there will be little left to show that we were ever here after a few thousand years, other than some big holes in the ground and piles of rubble where structuers once stood. We humans should be doing more to limit our population, and just enjoy all of the amazing things life has to offer. Instead we wage war over stupid things and worry about what some transgendered celebrity is wearing on the red carpet or said in a tweet.
