Out here a large part of their diet this late in the year is acorns which gives the meat a stronger flavor. Early in the year they eat mostly grass and the meat is better, but we can't hunt them then. Wild boar is the same way when you get them late.

I doubt if it will have much of an effect on drugs smuggled in. Domestically grown weed is of such high quality that the prices have gotten expensive. The cartels will ship weed in at a fraction of the price and still make a killing, figuratively and literally. It will cut down on incarcarations of small time users, but the feds will still use it as an excuse to come in and bust whoever they want to.

It's become routine and not a big deal any longer. Just a matter of time before many more states join the list and legalize it.

Love Star Wars but never felt the need to collect things related to it. Living close to where George Lucas wrote and developed them all has its perks. I've known and still know people who work for ILM and Lucasfilms, and most of them have original props from all of his movies. The father of my daughter's best friend has one of the three original golden idols from Indiana Jones on his fireplace mantle and I've seen many of the miniature models in people's houses from the original trilogy. I even got to watch them film some of the scenes when I was about 18 to 20 and hang out on the set. I hope Disney does them justice.
