I did systems design for the insurance industry and ran the family business for 30 years. Retired from that in 2007 and was an archaeological consultant for 5 years. Tried my hand at writing, wrote a published a short novel with mixed results. Then for some dumb reason I felt like trying out driving a truck. So for the last year and a half I've been a truck driver. Enjoy the Hell out of it but it's exhausting work. Right now I'm with a small company that hauls wine from California to Washington/Oregon. One guy started it a couple years ago and the company is growing like crazy. May look for a way to buy into it. Looks like it's going to be a winner. Hope my body can hold out. I feel great for a man of 90.

Guess I'll just watch porn until they get it fixed.

Congrats Hxtr. I've been incorporated for years and while it can be a pain in the ass, the protection it offers is worth the trouble. My biggest complaint is filing the quarterly taxes.

Beautiful photographs as always Olive. It's funny, I spent a summer in the Bahamas when I was a kid and those islands are as flat as a piece of paper. I always assumed Cuba was as well, but your pictures showed me that it has some beautiful mountains.

Looks like the Aussies have the same daily issues we drivers in the states have. I drive the I-5 corridor between San Francisco and Seattle every week, and with all of the millions of people who live along that route, I see a lot of shit on a daily basis. The most fun I had last week was watching the California Highway patrol shut down a busy highway during rush hour and chasing a horse and a mule all over the place.

Some of those who turned into the ditch had no choice. I drive big rigs for a living and some of those accidents more than likely flattened the front tires, and when that happens the truck immediately pulls hard in the direction of the flat tire. I've had a steer tire blow out and I can assure you that it takes a lot of muscle to keep the truck going straight.

You could pretty much say the same about anybody in Hollywood. I'm friends with a guy down there who used to be a talent agent, and two of his first clients were Johnny Depp and Nick Cage. He got both of them their first roles and was so turned off by their attitude that he left the business and is now a producer.

I actually think it's pretty cool they can target and destroy something that small. A drone could carry a biological weapon and kill a bunch of people, so in that sense I don't mind my tax dollars paying for it.
