  1. It works fine Joe. I have a stainless steel gas BBQ that has been collecting cobwebs on my deck for about 10 years since I bought a charcoal BBQ smoker, but when I used it for smoking it worked ok. You may need to seal up some of the holes on the lid to keep some of the smoke from escaping too quickly, but other than than what you said about removing a grill makes sense. Just be careful to have a little ventilation from the top and that the burner you use for your wood chips is hot enough to create a clean and thin smoke. A heavy white smoke is not good and will give your meat a creosote taste that really isn't good. I prefer a lighter smokey flavor that's produced with fruit wood like apple as opposed to mesquite or hickory which makes for a very strong smoke flavor. If you do ever make the switch to charcoal BBQ/smoker, you'll never go back to gas. I use lump mesquite charcoal which makes an exceptionally hot fire and when it's all glowing you just get a light smokey flavor which you can enhance using your own wood chips. Good luck!
  2. I would much rather watch this in its entirety than listen to 5 seconds of Beyonce, Jay Z, or any of the other "entertainers" that tried and failed to help Hillary win. Besides, if I drink a few beers I can dance to it.
  3. No doubt we stole it from them. But they weren't entirely peaceful either. There were a number of battles between factions of the Hawaiian people before Europeans arrived, just as native Americans were constantly at war with each other and took slaves long before Europeans arrived.
  4. How about we talk about the dutch slave traders who captured and sold millions of people into slavery between 1500 and 1850 around the world. You see, most countries have skeletons in the closet.
  5. Sorry about the title, I started drinking early. Have a great new year bitches.
  6. Just saw it on my news feed. Very sad day for Star Wars fans.
  7. A talented man. Sad to see anyone pass so young. Things can be going great, then WHAM, you're gone. Too soon?
  8. Happy birthday Ted. I have no doubt there will be a birthday bash at the restaurant tonight complete with Hollywood elite, naked women and plently of debauchery that would make even Donald Trump blush. Just make sure to collect cell phones at the door so there is no surprise video popping up on the news.
  9. I know it's satire, but if it was real I wouldn't be surprised.
  10. There are some high speed options through satellite carriers but it's horribly expensive. Nice house.
  11. Now it's posts? Have you no shame Ted? At least pleasure yourself with humans.
  12. I'll volunteer to have my vasectomy reversed if I am needed.
  13. Yeah I think most guys get freaked out when they hear the horror stories of other guys that went through it. My moment came seeing my next door neighbor going through it, and he said when they gave him the shot in his ball sack, it felt like they kicked him there, HARD. Needless to say I waited a few years and finally found a urologist willing to let me go fully under, and getting my insurance to pay for it all.
  14. Not sure what he was doing there but there is no mistaking his style. www.liveleak.com/view?i=667_1481244359
  15. Great story hxtr, and I can relate. I had mine done 18 year ago after my 3rd was born and it was one of the best things I ever did. No more worries about accidents. The only thing different I did because I'm such a coward was get general anestesia. Yep, out like a light and it was all over when I woke up. No pain or swelling afterwards either. I kept having visions of the doctor saying "oops" and hearing my nuts hit the floor, so I opted to be out cold during the procedure.
  16. Hxtr, you know I love you like a sister, but don't be a putz. IT'S FAKE.
  17. I'll be your first subscriber. Even without a few beers in me, you'll look a lot better than what I see regularly wandering around truck stops.
  18. Stripers are everywhere out here @@Leadfinger, and they aren't even a native species. Haven't done much fresh water fishing for them because they are so plentiful in the bays, tributaries and the ocean. They also get much bigger in salt water and don't reproduce when they are land locked in lakes. My personal record is a 39 pounder which I released shortly after weighing it, but I've seen them caught out here up to around 55 pounds. The state record is over 67 pounds and was caught from shore with a lure in the delta. I only lure fish either from shore or trolling by boat. One of my best friends lives on a lagoon with access to the bay through a boat lock, and we frequently fish from his dock and catch 20+ pounders using "hair raiser" lead headed jigs or cotton Cordell rattle traps. On top of being big and great fighting fish, it's also about the best eating fish I can think of. My absolute favorite.
  19. I'm jealous. Stripers are my favorite game fish. Nicely done.
  20. Oh god, I suppose I'll have to be nice to him for a game or two and let him win. Happy birthday you old fart.
  21. Happy birthday RIP. I hope you had a great day.
