  1. This one is cool - I could get the whole Freezetag team in it!
  2. Very bored... Grateful to get my freedom and start work at 16!
  3. WiZiD DEEJAYKEG UK-based purchasers bear in mind not only the dreaded Customs charges but also the much higher handling charge imposed by the carrier here (Royal Mail). If the intrinsic value of the package exceeds £18 you become liable. Believe me, it is no fun paying an extra £11+ of which £8 goes to the Royal Mail for the "service" of collecting the £3 import VAT! I don't know if this is also an issue elsewhere in the EU but it's something Rugger et al may wish to bear in mind when packaging orders. If a member places two separate orders, for example for a tee shirt and a mug, there might be a temptation to combine the two into one parcel to save on shipping, thereby landing the recipient with a huge bill at the other end... Please correct me if I am wrong but I thought if you mailed as a gift there is no charge. Wizid, If only it were that simple... There's no such blanket exemption - it depends on considerations such as the value of the goods and the amount of duty/tax payable (it's all explained in the Customs leaflet).
  4. , To remain legal AND get valid proof of age, take the time to look at the Home Office approved cards suppliers at http://www.pass-scheme.org.uk/ You will find that if you are prepared to download a form, fill it in and get it countersigned by a professional, you could get a next-day service at extra cost. Hope this helps.
  5. Loved it! I hate ****in' carvans! LMAO!
  6. Hahaha! You have to get a joker medal after that one!
  7. Sitting- - Fake ID. OK before i start i am of a legal age to drink in the UK, there thats sorted. Basically.. i need a ID that displays my correct details and correct age so i can go out this Sunday - i have an out of date passport and my Provisional license wont have been processed in time which means i have no ID. So what i'm looking for/asking is that any of you guys who are great with forums sig's and photo-shop would mind lending an idiot and hand in getting drunk. Any people that can help - give me a beep on xfire: cryteksystems. TY => Sitting- EDIT: all i really need done is the adding the correct text and photo as i fail at that.. i can do the printing etc. A seriously bad idea, . You'd risk arrest and prosecution for "making and using a false instrument"! This is viewed as fraud under English law and that criminal record would mess up your life forever! Don't do it, buddy - all for the sake of a few lousy beers!
  8. Ruggerxi Is there anyway I can pay for this? If you're talking about prepayment of UK/EU VAT, I don't know of a way that's possible and each country levies its own rate (the Germans will correct me if I am wrong but I believe theirs is 19% whereas ours is currently 17.5%). It's something that those of us who've bought from the States and Canada in the past are aware of and I hope my post stops any that don't usually buy from outside the EU from having a surprise at their door when the postman comes knocking. Looking at what's available in the store, I have only spotted one individual item that could fall foul of this on its own and that is the 2XL personalised tee shirt, the cost of which exceeds the prevailing dollar equivalent of £18. Provided the purchasers realise that it is their responsibility to pay any taxes and additional handling charges on import and do the research/ calculation themselves before they buy, would it be a problem? If I understand you correctly, shipping is factored into all the listed prices so it shouldn't matter if items are sent one at a time (other than the poor person/people having to pack/address more packets/boxes)?

  10. Oh yes! Great one!
  11. ENGLAND! VINDALOO! VINDALOO! COS WE ALL LOVE VINDALOO!
  12. Going up to Wembley, tomorrow afternoon, to see the England vs Mexico friendly!
  13. I'm on the Kent coast, in the south-east of the UK, right next door to France (we can see it sometimes across the English Channel when the air is right).
  14. Thanks for the reply, Hagar - seems it is a feature rather than a bug or settings issue. If there's a major imbalance between the teams and the next round's a long way off, I can see this can be useful.
  15. If you think your country's messed up, read this! "Britain's counter-terrorism strategy was thrown into turmoil today when a judge ruled that two Pakistani students posed a serious threat to national security but could not be deported because of the risk they would be tortured or killed in their own country. A special immigration court ruled that Abid Naseer was an al-Qaida operative who remained a serious threat, while his friend Ahmed Faraz Khan had been radicalised before coming to the UK and was willing to participate in terrorist activity." (The Guardian, 18 May 2010; full article at http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/may/18/pakistani-students-terror-suspects-deportation ) Oh, and if you move here, don't lay a finger on any burglar who breaks into your property, steals from you, threatens or even harms you as it is you that will be arrested!!! You might not be prosecuted but the investigation will doubtless involve many hours of loss of liberty for the real victim. Is it any wonder we have lost faith in our justice system?!
  16. The country used to be covered in small stations like that till major cuts in the 1950s. We're lucky down here as we have the UK's first high-speed service running Hitachi "bullet trains" named "Javelins" (for the London Olympics in 2012). We can be walking around London inside an hour! I find Google Street View useful, Shadow, if I'm going somewhere new and want to check out roads, car parking etc. Some people think it's intrusive so there are gaps in its coverage. Yes, beats a long wait at the airport whilst the volcanic ash clouds clear overhead here!!! Air travel into Europe could be problematic for years to come whilst Iceland's active like this and we're waiting for the big neighbour - Katla - to explode! Thank goodness for trains! (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katla )
  17. Just got this message via Facebook: "ESPN [tonight] (Tuesday, May 18th) during the Celtics-Magic game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals to see the world-premier of the brand-new reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops, featuring 100% in-game footage." I think the times are 2030-2330 in whatever time zone they're being screened over there. No doubt the rest of us will get to see it once it has aired on TV...
  18. Whiteboy, This man appears to be standing on the wrong side of level crossing gates, in the road, off the end of the station platform. Behind him is a sign warning that people should not trespass on the railway (doing so is not only reckless but is also a crime). Unfortunately, there are several deaths every year of people who do not heed the warnings around railway lines. Railway platforms in the UK usually have a line painted on them behind which passengers are expected to stand so that they do not put themselves in danger when through express trains speed past. For a better view of the location, see http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Thurston,+Bury+Saint+Edmunds,+UK&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=57.510723,133.857422&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Thurston,+Bury+Saint+Edmunds,+Suffolk,+United+Kingdom&ll=52.250068,0.808176&spn=0.001376,0.004085&t=h&z=19
  19. Ah, so it'll be a few years before we see them in the Premier League, then? Pleased something has happened that makes you happy, my friend! I'm going up to Wembley, on Monday week, to cheer on our boys against Mexico - the last home game before South Africa. No, we're not going to the World Cup - far too expensive!
  20. Just read this on the UK's Daily Telegraph newspaper website. Oh my! Best not to skinny dip in New Zealand, Canadians! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/australiaandthepacific/newzealand/7722296/Tourist-hospitalised-by-venomous-spider-bite-on-penis.html
  21. Happy Birthday, Zoe! Viel Glück zum Geburtstag! (30's not so bad. Wait till you hit 50!) Enjoy your special day!
  22. kleinehexe Hello you.. Cool you was in germany in your ilve?? cool...nice that you like the crazy people here..hehehehehe ... I will drink a beer of you later!!!!! I first visited in 1984, took my new wife back there in 1986 for our honeymoon (Assmannshausen am Rhein) and have since been back several times to both the Rhineland (Koeln and Rheingau) and Berlin. Koelsch is a favourite type of beer and we have an ALDI store near our home that sells Berliner Kindl, Spaten and several other German pilsner beers plus Bockwurst, Bratwurst and Frikadellen so we can enjoy some German treats. The German sense of humour is much like ours and I like the way that daytime is for work and afterwards, work is forgotten and it is party time! The photo on the home page here shows me in the Altstadt in Koeln, enjoying a cold German beer!
  23. Ah. well, as long as he spent it all on hot women, that's OK...
  24. Kleinehexe, Happy Fathers' Day! Just makes me miss my "second home" even more! God, I love Germany and its people! I must get back over there soon... This Englishman is having a few beers to keep you company!!! Zum Wohl! DeeJay'
