With the holidays upon us I would like to share a personal experience with you
all about drinking and driving, after a "social session" with friends. Well this past Friday, I was out on a post-Thanksgiving evening with some old friends.
I had a few cocktails, followed by a handful of glasses of vintage red wine.
Despite the jolliness, I still had the sense to know that I was over the limit.
That's when I decided to do what I have never done before: I took a cab home.
Sure enough, there was a police
road block on the highway but, since it was a cab, they waved it past.
I arrived home safely without incident.
This was a both a great relief and surprise because I had never driven a cab
before. I don't even know where I got it from and, now that it is in my garage,
I don't know what to do with it.

Thursday night I gradually woke up stiff as a plank in hospital's ICU, tubes up my nose & down my throat, wires monitoring every function & all around my head, hell of a pain over my left ear and a Drop Dead Gorgeous Nurse hovering over me.
It was obvious I'd been in a serious accident.
She looked deep & steady into my Eyes and I heard her slowly say,
"You may not feel anything from the waist down."
I managed to mumble in reply,
"Can I feel your tits, then." ?

it is with a sad and heavy heart that the news of one of our own has past away. casper>XI< passed this morning from another bought of cancer. this one was in his lung. he was a true fighter have beaten throat cancer that he was fighting when he joined us and beat it. shortly after that he was found to have colon cancer which he had won another battle with and all types of skin cancer. this time he found out he had a lymphnode that was cancer in his lung. he passed way this morning peacefully. just simply went to sleep and stopped breathing. his wife told me when he found out he looked at her and said he was just plain tired of fighting. my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family and ask if yours would be also.
he was a true fighter and a very dear friend of mine and will be truly missed as he is playing in that battle field in the sky.
LOVE YOU MY DEAR FRIEND!!

I write with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes as my Grandfather has passed away. He was 94 and a man who taught me a lot in life when my father was busy working. I will miss him but will always have the memories of him and the one I would like to share with you all is that he was a bee keeper and made some of the best honey in New York. He was a strong man but always had a caring personality. I am off to work from 5 am to 5pm and will see you idiots over the weekend as I will be off from thursday to sunday. Take care all and remember to always spend time with the ones you love because those are the memories that stay with you.

Damage_inc I'm sure after someone makes a post, a simple post to say hi it's always nice to hear from an XI member what an idiot he/she is with there intro post (Sarcasm). You could always ask questions.....People coming in to say hi to us is a nice thing and we should be nice back....
