OK..played the COD2, CTF for years without issue. Went to get in tonight and map started to load then screen went black indefinately. Had this happen once before on different PC (work laptop on road) on the COD2, DM server, but then learned if X-fire was running, it worked correctly = without X-fire it would not. Thinking the same here on my home PC which I've played for years, but no luck with or without X-fire?? Updated NVidia drivers, played with numerous settings in game and no luck. I know some changes were made recently to CTF server, so wondering if anyone else has issues now (but I see many regulars are in tonight). Bummer, since CTF is my favorite game Anyone got any ideas or had this issue? Seems like a video problem, since game never errors out - just a constant black screen and no sound, nothing. BTW, I'm running Window 7 on an NVidia 8600 GT, Pentium D. 2Gig RAM.

XI forever here! Played a few other's a LOONNGG time ago, but can't imagine playing anywhere else now. Hell, I can't get enough time in the few XI servers I get in now. While I especially love the COD2 and COD 5 servers and the friends made there, would love to get some COD4 and Crysis time in = got them both also. Damned day job!!

My dad had one at 49 and followed with a triple bypass. Went on to live twenty years, but passed away on a non-heart related ailment. Tough surgery back then, but easier today with technology constantly getting better. Keep us posted!!

Never played that modded server! Was totally bummed when COD2 came out and didn't have the vehicles after playing COD United Offensive sooo long and they did have the vehicles, tanks, jeeps. Loved blowing up the tanks! Remember Base Assault? Had to blow up the bunkers before the other team did. Even COD 5 hasn't met those mods and game types. Miss that UO game. Maybe COD10 will have great graphics, maps AND vehicles?!

Well...he's been playing a while now and been asking if he can join the XI family. You saw him first as LtTravis, but recently changed his name to TheMidgetnator. Was playing a lot of COD4, then MW2, but back in bashing his dad in COD2..grrr (little shit- he'll soon be 14). Anyway hooked him up with Xfire (his name is lttravis96) and will soon replace his mic I borrowed a while ago when mine broke. Asking if he can join up with us Idiots, since he also "fits the bill". Of course I won't let him join the website due to rated "R" content, but he would love to wear the tags if your taking newbies!! LAZ
