Noobies are tasty!

Blud, just chill out and give us some time. It is a requirement that we get video of them in order to make the bans permanent. Without it they can appeal the ban and get unbanned. Me personally if I have too much trouble getting the video I just ban them and let them appeal. Most of those wankers don't bother and I can ban them again anyway. Then, once I figure out they are hacking I fuck with them. Like one time we had a guy with a rifle and an aimbot standing in a field. You would spawn in or near the field and as soon as you go into it bang you're dead. So, that map had tanks. I found one and went into the field and the rifle with the aimbot still could not kill the tank so I blew him up, then we got his revenge spawn in the field I blew him up again. His 1.99 hack was funny to fuck with. Then I banned him. The last ban that I was a part of was a guy with a wall hack. When I thought he was hacking I went to spec just long enough to make up my mind he was hacking. I went to hit the record button and he left. I then went to the admin forums and told all the admins to watch out for him and take appropriate action. DjMot got him the next day. So it is not always instant gratification sometimes they take a bit of time. They are not always in the area that I am even though they might be tearing everybody else up. I don't even like people to tell me they are hacking because they just run away when someone says they are hacking in chat. Anyway give us some time to get them. The admin section is full of bans for these punks. We just prefer to get it right the first time and not have to deal with screwing the ban up.

The problem is that just because there are some people that think there are others hacking that we should act because they think there is a hack. I believe you that your guy was hacking, but still it takes some time. Trust me the admin portal is strewn with hackers. As for PB. it is worthless IMHO. I would rather do it this way. But the reason that PB is not on is that with our beloved mod it causes lag. So, you get PB and lag, and get some hackers or you get a smoother running server and have to do things the old fashion way.

 Being a road warrior too I take my lappy with me to game when on the road. Since I am hopelessly married and don't drink staying out of bars is what happens and gaming in the hotel seems to be my only entertainment when not at home. Now, I have gamed on laptops for over 6 years and have some experience with it. I would get a used laptop with i7. I don't know how tech savy you are but the Asus g73 Jh would be a nice lappy with a 17inch screen that you can game with and not worry about it too much. Of course you are talking about ebay here most likely. Anyway I highly recommend going to a website called notebookreview.com and go to their forums and they have an Asus gaming forum there. You can read up all you like. The Jh is an older monster with an ati card and will still run a lot of the newer titles. I am currently playing Bioshock infinite on mine without issue. The only thing about the Jw is that will take a bit of work to get it run properly.  A repaste job is mandatory on the cpu and gpu and a custom vbios it also mandatory so you can run the ATI stock drivers instead of Asus's pathetic ones. The mouse pads on the jh's suck as well, but you're gonna use a mouse anyway. For the bux I doubt you can beat it. If you don't want to fool with that stuff look for the Asus g74 although they might still top the 400 range. If you need more info let me know.
 Oh and if you don't want to fool with the ATI card get a G73 Jw or sw, they will cost a bit more and will have the Nvidia card although you will get a higher frame rate with the ATI card after all the work. I get about 75 fps on cod5 with all the goodies turned up.

I was in game at the time and the player you where talking about was named "niggahtickler" , and there was also 2 other admins and at the time and we should of gotten rid of that player ASAP in the first place before anyone started having a chance to talk to him.(sorry about that) i know you were just typing the guys name and would of lifted the ban asap, but it seems since it was auto ban our seniors need to be the ones to lift the ban and where waiting for you to make an appeal. I will state here now that buiiets wasn't being racist and was typing a name of a player that was in the server at the time!

He has been kicked for glitching and also warned afterwards too, i was in the server a couple of days ago and the Admins were talking about him being kicked for glitching, he later joined the game and JohnnyDos warned him that he had to stop it, not understanding English is a poor excuse, you don't need to understand English to know you are in a glitch and it is wrong, especially after already being kicked for it.

I trust the COD5 admins to do the right thing, I game with you guys and u are doing an awesome job. If I could add one thing to this specific ban.
 
Does anyone think it's odd to see someone appeal a ban and in the same breath complain so much about why they were banned. Maybe a touch of humility would help.

Legit, had to do it years ago. You must not have used paypal very much. But after a certain amount of use they bump you up to a different type account and want more info.

Ok, I have played on the Black ops server all day. Great mod, and the more work the admins put into it the better it runs. Anyway I have two gripes with it, the first the fucking dogs. Those miserable bastards must have never been fed. You can't hardly kill them. When you play TDM and the other team is at your spawn point spraying you down and calling dogs over and over and over that you can't kill, well it makes the game not fun at all. Not only do I suggest turning them down but taking them off so that they don't work at all. 
The second gripe is probably something that nobody here can fix, but man I would love to have sights work on the tubes. Nothing more aggravating trying to snipe somebody with a tube only to find the sights grayed out. 
 Otherwise have had a great time on the server today.

Those miserable bastards must have never been fed. You can't hardly kill them. I heard idiots rave about Essentials. I used Avira which works ok, but is not that impressive and you get a nag screen. It is free though. Well, within a week of Essentials I had two infections. I won't bother with it again. Back to Avira which I like because it runs during gaming without bothering anything. I had Avast at one time but on MY system would not run and game at the same time. I am not one to turn off the antivirus programs to game. 
 What I will tell you is absolutely top notch and free.  It is Kasperskys VIRUS REMOVAL TOOL  it is NOT an anti virus. You download it and install it, run it, it cleans your system squeaky clean and then you uninstall it. It is a somewhat large download, like 110meg. But it is the best removal tool I have found. So, I compromise and run not the best antivirus and once in a while I run the virus removal tool. Then what Mott says. You are the best defense against viruses just by your actions. Oh, and if you run a MS operating system that has UAC? Use it. It does its job and helps out too.

Well my Broadband Router packed up so I got a replacement off my van phoned up Activations to replace and activate it.

Oh no now we have to book a fault and because we are staff we have to wait 2 weeks before we get it fixed.....And we are not allowed to fix it ourselves.
Total bullshit, we are still expected to pay our bill which Instead of paying half price with staff discount is now only 25% OFF.....
And they did not tell us of price increase......
Then we find out from our supervisor we might have to re apply for our jobs so they can screw us over and pay us less on a new contract....
 
But Baldie gets the last laugh I have a manager who owed me a favour and he Activated the new router for me...... Fuck them.
 
And if they want me to re apply for my job Fuck em I will go and work for their rivals at BT before I do that...

Technoboy this doesn't work on the WaW games as the console in game is turned off. The only way there is an outside source such as xfire or something similar! Blud the process for banning "hackers" is much like fishing. First you have to give them enough time and opportunity to actually hack while being recorded. Then when you have that done you have more things in succession that need to be done. I am kind of like you, when I see one I simply want them gone, but if that is the only goal then the job really isn't finished as the "hacker" can appeal and if there is no video what do the other admins use to determine if they were really hacking? This is why we have it set up this way so all even the hackers get a fair shake and opportunity at justice! Please hang in there and things will get done and they will never come back!

Dean, one of our clan members ziggiii can't be found on xlr stats. Not that he plays "funny" but we can't seem to get him on the stats at all. It is like he does not exist. I don't know what causes that but not on the stats alone is not cause for alarm if you ask me.
