Howdy Folks, Just heard from one of our fellow Mac users that they upgraded to macOS 10.15 Catalina and found out the hard way it no longer supports 32-bit apps, including the Steam, MacAppStore or CD versions of COD4 for the MAC! So if you enjoy playing COD4 on your Mac, easy thing to do is Don't upgrade! If you have upgraded already (and you know who you are) here are some options (none of which are that great) 1) Backup everything and reformat and reinstall MacOS 10.14: https://iboysoft.com/mac-data-recovery/downgrade-from-macos-catalina.html 2) Install a VMM/Hypervisor and windows (Win 10 32-bit would be fine) and the win version of COD4 from Steam or CD like: VMWare Fusion (My Choice): https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjYntuhhZ_lAhXpnuAKHakwCAIQFjAAegQIARAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.vmware.com%2Fproducts%2Ffusion.html&usg=AOvVaw2cwjRa20hAdeyvBhC3omGm Parallels Desktop: https://www.parallels.com/landingpage/pd/fusion-compete/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7L_ioYWf5QIVGq_ICh11zQbtEAAYAiAAEgKtyvD_BwE VirtualBox (free): https://www.virtualbox.org 3) Install Windows with BootCamp on your mac: https://support.apple.com/boot-camp 4) Get a real windows box to run COD4 Things that you'd think would be ok to do but really aren't at the moment: A ) Use a cloud VM like GEFORCE NOW, unfortunately this allows you to install the latest version of windows COD4 which is 1.8 and incompatible with our servers: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce-now/ B ) Run Wine or a derivative thereof like Crossover but they aren't ready for Catalina yet either: https://www.codeweavers.com/products Hope this helps. Many folks who play insurgency have played COD4. It's definitely more run and gun, less overall strategy. As far as fast paced it depends on the server, map and who's in but can be very much so.

Based on evidence from my HLSW the server restarted late last night (EDT times): 23:55:30 map: mp_fr_pv1 23:55:56 status 23:56:02 status 23:56:08 status 23:56:14 status 23:56:20 status 23:56:26 status 23:56:26 map: mp_broadcast2

@Loader It's Definitely on the Host Side, and it restarts the rotation at the start, all get disconnected.

Yessir, all the times I've seen it's back up at the start of the rotation in less than a minute. Looks like it made it the whole way through the rotation today!

Same as all the others so far: "Server Disconnected"
