from what seen on Facebook 2042 PC seems lots of problems are AMD, this is only 32bit wiith no option to launch as a 64 bit game,so being as intensive as it is its as said before on another forum this game is VERY CPU/GPU dependant,so think half peoples problems is low end complies to play it and mid range may just fair better,but for me with prices as they are , is not going to upgrade at cost of £700+ on 2 pieces to play a game to be honest is not that brilliant compared to BF3/4,it looks like modelling from BF2 Two of the biggest bugs is the vehicle keys as i play on right side of keyboard, Tank drives fine the rest just will not turn correctly ,the 2nd bug is way to upgrade weapons,for now will leave it for a month or two see if the fix the bugs[but we all know how that goes],just glad got the game @£32 so not to much of a loss if i never play it....But think now Battlefield is well and truly at its end

Been looking at the Ryzen 9 5900x between the two 5800x , is the xtra 12 cores and 70mb cache worth it hell yeah found the 9500x on few sites in uk but says discontinued???

Will agree with Ranger but that normal for Battlefield, few things that get me is they followed COD ie introducing old BF2/3 maps,the other is the constant not being able to redploy as stuck on 0,and are any of these servers in Europe? every one on yesterday same old lag boxes showing. Mind one thing do find funny Auto Graphics sets everything to low on mine set everything to high nothing changed Again normal lotta bugs,and thats one thing i could not fault on COD they got on it asap[Ps not a Cod fan but because of Dessy i got it,enjoyed Warzone plunder the best,but normal COD hackers abundance]] Will also mention BF got bit better when turned crossplay off

THIS IS FOR AMD Motherboards:::::::First go into to bios and see if you have TPM on AMD it shows as Ftpm if that shows you will not need the module,my mb has place for the module but its all ready on the board> also check if motherboard has a Bios Win 11 update mine has and the board is 4 yrs old...first down load W11 iso and pop it on a usb stick Now this bugged me for weeks caused endless problems crashes wanted to throw PC out the window!!!,on Amd boards you have to disable CSM, set from legacy drive to UEFI,you will notice you lose all hardrives etc showing,you can then enable secure boot save and exit,pop usb stick in,go through setup process chose upgrade[ ie keep[existing files}, it will then copy W11 and keep all your games etc it will automatically change your hard drive to UEFI. Now the bummer part maybe just happened to me but if you have any secondary drives it will not show the contents as the re not uefi,BUT if your motherboard bios supports it [mine did not] some bios lets you have both Legacy/Uefi dual mode mine didnt

guess none noticed in BSOD screen reason failed Ntfs sys ! besides using a win 11 update, if you have your Windows disk, pop it in select repair advanced then Command Prompt open that type in it sfc/scannow, hopefully if its set in command prompt to administrator it should run sfc and fix any bad files Besides doom i put above worst case is HD is failing many believe they works for donkeys years sorry they do not: https://www.pcgamer.com/how-long-do-hard-drives-last/

Want the good news sorry not one,used to getthis a lot with with W10 pro so went back to basic Home version, you can do everything across web, but that stop code is a Windows security message that the boot laoder has corrupted, so Windows sends Stop Code its a bug on Pro,you can just keep installing windows and it will come back sooner or later but yay all not lost!! By looks you can run W11 down the iso and put it on a usb stick, boot it up and setup windows 11 via upgrade

I will STRESS had W11 quite liked it till it crashed on me and ended up re installing W10 plus everything else,Now cannot reinstall W11 according to there stupid health check i do not have secure boot enabled.....uhmmm yes it is! nothing changed in bios since last install.Checked yep enabled, of to wonderfull MS wallers to be told delete health check and redo a new install ! ok ,Nope same no you cannot run as secure boot not enabled.So after 2 weeks i give trying PS even tried rolling back bios nope that dint work so either bios or bored is naffed or W11 ......going for W11 being the problem its an amd X470 Aurous ultra gaming MB

it also they only work with DX12 10 nots that bad but seems 7/8 will no longer be supported there maybe not mmuch choice,plus 10 only has another 2yrs i think, if you have a spare HD just run both and choose other for newer games.....pst dlcompare windows keys $5 what i used

use same Intel 1211, if you have killer software with it uninstall it,it will leave the driver behind,had it on first board proved more of a problem, also if you have it that Cfos program that is crap to.Seems a lot of the so called Help prevent lag increase performance is just a named piece of crap lol or basic oh look it will uhmmm no it wont lol

Can honestly say found W11 to run smooth on mine so far not a problem well one !! lol think Firefox does not like it, that gets laggy.As for network options,just click on the windows icon in search Type Control panel all pops up same as W10. As for Download speeds mine seem to increase slightly,i know i had to activate the TPM on board to get it maybe on yours was not enabled? just a guess. sometimes you can just get lucky if the drive that failed is main drive[ie windows on it],try this, disconnect old drive, installn ew drive with windows on it , shut down reconnect old drive,when that done ,on Windows 10 find Disk Management have a look in there if it shows that drive with no letter assigned assign drive letter, go to run type drive letter [ ie c : or what ever letter you gave it], if drive not completely buggered you should be able to see all your folders and files, basic it becomes a storage drive.. I like my task bar on left or on top of screen,apparently MS is not going to have this feature,inc tool bars!! but if your a user who likes task bar at top of screen heres how to do it !!!! as norm not confident dont do it!!! open task manger on destop[ ctrl-alt-delete], then open regedit your looking for this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\StuckRects3. right click annd export StuckRect3 to a folder on desktop[ for safe keeping name it StuckRect3] now go into task manager click on details tab and stop explorer.exe[ yes desktop disappears] now goto the regedit StuckRect3 [ regedit not one you saved in folder]folder right click and modify binary. 2nd row down 5th along is 03, select and delete and then add 01...your done. Now go back to taskmanger up top file click that select run new task. type Explorer.exe ,bingo task bar at top KEEP TASK MANAGER AND REGEDIT OPEN at all times,close it when finished, yes it satys at top when you re login later PS some tried to use 2 or 4 it doesnt work apparently it will go to side but icons go weird

Hmppph !!!we had a lovely chest freezer[bit larger than yours] 10 yrs old worked perfectly till 3 months ago after aruguments missus wanted to replace it with an upright one, so off we trotted to electrical store £469[@ $1.32 exchange $619!!!!] glad it was her money......3 months down the line,ie today flaming thing has packed up everything gone luckily bottom draw had the meat in still frozen[ freezer is 6 ft tall] and luckily yet again luckily .we have an American split Fridge/ freezer so at least we saved most of the meat and its going to take 5 days for them to come see whats wrong!

On Amd Boards its fTPM and in Prepherials in bios heres a vid on it and how to check if its enables, on most boards its disable but before you poke in your bios, in Run type : TPM.msc or follow the vid for it
