1974 Chevy Nova Hatchback, 283 small-block, 350 trans and 410 rear. Car was purchased in Texas and had zero rust, pretty rare for a Nova. Engine came apart on the drive back to Pa. Replaced with 350 small-block. Added additions were Weiand blower, dual holley 750’s, street strip cam and a scat trans shift kit. After multiple speeding tickets car was sold and purchased a Ford highboy 4x4.

If you do not have a saved Profile you will have to rank up to get some of the attachments you want for your preferred weapons.

Dual or triple monitors are usually used for multitasking where as ultra wide curved are typically used for gaming. The curved monitor will usually have a higher refresh rate offering a much smoother experience. Your field of view will also be greater and will not be broken up by the added bezels. 

Pci-e 3 and pci-e 2 slots are backwards compatible. Card will work in a pci-e 2 slot but at pci-e 2 speeds. I have a pci-e 3 card running on a pci-e 2 motherboard with no problems. The card will just not reach it’s full rated speeds.

When switching vendors for graphics , I use Display Driver Uninstaller. Program will block windows from installing drivers after uninstall and shut down the pc after uninstall. You can restart and install Nvidia drivers clean.

By the other hand, of course this have some limits, is a budget very cheap for the build. but if you are looking for some that works and dont break your pocket this is a way to do it.

Of course, if you have 3000 dollars or more to expend in a new PC all new and with the last tech go for that. But this pretends to be a simple way and cheap, very cheap to have some working.

Released sometime in September, Windows 11 24H2’s new PopCnt cpu requirement will keep most unsupported pc’s from even booting. Unlike TPM and secure boot, so far there is no work around for this requirement.

This is built in to Windows 11. Go to settings/gaming and turn on game mode. You can set graphics to high performance for each game.

I am still running Windows 11 Pro version 21H2 when it first came out on at 4th gen Intel. I did it as an upgrade option however at that time there was a an instruction you could add to the registry to tell the installation to ignore TPM.  This bypass seems to no longer work as it did before, I've tried installing 23H3 in more than one way and no go so I'm stuck at 21H2 with no further updates since 21H2 is no longer support. Seems only option is to upgrade my PC that supports TPM.

I used the TPM registry hack on an Intel 6th generation to install Windows 11 22H2, only works using the iso to install, will not work with installation assistant. Since 23H2 is the same file structure as 22H2, was able to update to 23H2 through Windows update. When installing with the iso image I was not able to keep most programs, had to do a clean install.

That’s a midrange system. The i3 12100 is an awesome little processor for the price. You should be fine with the games you want to play. More demanding games will require turning some settings to medium or low. I would try verifying game files before uninstalling the game.

In settings click on Display and scroll to bottom and click on Advanced Display Settings;

You can use another computer or a friends and copy the cd to a usb drive and install from that.

Go to your Profile folder and make sure there were no $$$ accounts created. Open your "active" folder in your profile folder and make sure it displays your correct name and not $$$.

Did you allow CoDWaWMP.exe through your firewall? Are you using the original cd key from which your profile was created? (Insert key in game menu in single player).Try running the .exe as admin from your Steam /common folder.

Have you looked in event viewer for any errors? Do you have a different headset to try just to rule that out?

After disabling Windows Hello, no longer have these problems. I've fixed  a lot of problems with sfc/scannnow, thanks for the post.

If your using MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision, try down clocking the card and see if that helps. Also check video memory for errors,

I've used DDU in the past, great program and has helped lots of people. I'm now using NvCleanstall. Program will automatically install the latest driver only downloading the parts that you pick to install, deletes all old files before install and automatically blocks Windows update from installing a driver. Works great and has caused no problems to date.
