Looks like Microsoft will be killing off older computers with windows 11, will require UEFI, Secure Boot, TPM 2.0 and direct x 12 graphics support.
-
Just installed United Offensive, couple of changes to config file and works fine on Windows 10.

Released in October 2021, Windows 10 supported until 2025. We’ll see on the 24th.

Windows 10 Game Mode can cause problems with windows refresh rate settings. Make sure everything is disabled under Windows Game Mode settings. Also disable any Full Screen Optimizations for the games you play.

Have had this same experience. Just as J3st3r has said, G-Sync will only work on Display Port and will not work on hdmi or an hdmi-display port adapter.
-

UT2004 Windows 10 Issues (Fix)
Tw33tle_Dee replied to LOCO's topic in Unreal Tournament's Unreal Tournament Discussions
Ini files can be edited in ut2004 from the systems folder. Keep in mind if your monitor supports refresh rates above 60Hz, you need to change that in the ini file as it will default to 60Hz. This only works for D3D and D3D9, open GL will be 60Hz. no mater what. Example - [D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice] DesiredRefreshRate=60 [WinDrv.WindowsClient] FullscreenViewportX=1920 FullscreenViewportY=1080 -
If your GPU temperatures are ok I would test system and video memory,1st one will test video memory, 2nd is for GPU monitoring and 3rd is test for system memory; http://mikelab.kiev.ua/index_en.php?page=PROGRAMS/vmt_en https://www.msi.com//Landing/afterburner https://www.memtest.org/

Driver stability and inconsistent frame rates for rx6800, I would choose RTX 3080. Although typically more expensive, the RTX 3080 has DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) which usually accounts for higher frame rates where other cards would struggle.
