  4. I never install major updates through Windows Update, always use Windows 10 Update Assistant. After these major OS updates A lot of settings are returned to defaults and standard Microsoft drivers. It's a good idea to have all your drivers downloaded before the update. You can also use the Media Creation Tool to create installation media for a clean install of the latest build. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 In an email sent to my Microsoft account about a month ago was Microsoft's updated Terms of Use policy. It basically said that if your not happy with Windows you can always uninstall and use something else.

  10. If the bios update does not help, run Display Driver Uninstaller and reinstall your current driver. DDU will completely uninstall the graphics driver and leave no leftover files and will let you start with a fresh driver. DDU https://www.wagnardsoft.com/ DDU info http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
  11. It's not always drivers, bad memory can cause this too.
  12. Have you run memtest to check your memory?
  13. Have used this for a long time, great tool

  17. After you straighten the joist,if the floor is questionable and you don't want to get into footer work, you could take advantage of the alcove for support and bolt a piece of steel and gluelamb to the existing joist bearing on the alcove block walls thus not requiring any jack posts.
  18. Agree with jester. If the floor isn't good enough to support the jack posts, cut a section out and poor a footer.
  19. Have something similar for my Henry 22mag, works well

  21. Have you updated your LAN driver? You could try a wireless adapter to rule out a failing LAN card. If you have the Asus AP on your phone you can monitor your connection while gaming to troubleshoot.
  22. Keep in mind that along with the Windows update, to be totally protected, a motherboard firmware update is also required. Then comes the real slow down.
