I'm beginning to notice, that especially with younger people, fear of what they are saying, and if it is offensive, is now part of their everyday life sadly. I was buying vegetables from a stall a fortnight ago, the guy was a bit younger than me and had someone I guessed was his daughter working with him. I complimented him on how fresh the veg were and he replied 'they'll probably outlast you', we both laughed. But not the young girl, she was mortified and started laying into the stallholder saying 'he could get into trouble for that'. I was amazed, I actually had to say it was a joke, and I was in no way offended, but you could see her disbelief. No the wonder I have trouble in these forums, but my message to the snowflakes, as always is :-
