Hmmm yes this seems like a common theme amongst governments doesn't it? quite depressing must admit I'd forgotten about these, I read a book about them some years ago, how times change, if you fought in the first real army (the Roman) you were rewarded with citizenship and land, kept them faithful. Hmmm? this was only after a protracted campaign which was not implemented until 2007, and only since then has their pension been linked to the UK forces where they serve as a regiment, previously it was and still is for the majority linked to the Indian army. Remember one simple fact in nature, and the lessons of history, only the strong survive - and get to write their version of history - stay strong, fight back Harry, even if you lose it may benefit the next generation of vets, and tell the next generation not to fight unless their welfare is guaranteed.

When no one is on either server (our mornings) I've joined the acemod first, sat on it by myself and watched the other fill up (bit of an exaggeration) I think it's because they have to start again with weapons, either that or most people prefer spray and pray for some reason. Not easy to resolve as you have two differing wishes, one for more players, one for less, one interesting observation is that since the numbers were increased, overall, less people are playing on the main server even during our day when normally it was busy, you quite often see it empty now for long periods. Problem with people like me who have time on their hands is we notice all this shit, if we just worked and played we wouldn't notice anything, what I need is a girls nudist colony in the field behind my house.

Just leave it as standard for reliability, you might lose a couple of horsepower but so what? in my opinion if you want to tour you do not want a stressed, peaky motor possibly running lean too, me I'd leave the standard mapping, bite the bullet and pick up a standard exhaust off fleabay, then it should be reliable (if it doesn't rain lol), you boys love your loud exhausts,absolutely NOT perfect to tour with. I'm still deaf from the Dunstalls I had fitted to a triumph in the 70's, hearings never recovered. What????????????

Jesus Christ what's that 3 weeks to fix a fault? I'll bet now they can't fix it and the mapping you get will be the standard mapping, pity theres no way to check the power output when (if) you get it back, there should not be a great deal of difference between the normal and 'race' one if it's street legal? a true race exhaust massively alters the pressures and fuelling/timing but thats because they're almost straight through, what make is that 'race' exhaust Akro or Termi? because the mapping on those should be well known. It should not take this long to do a job like that, I could do it in 3 hours, I strongly suspect the problem lies elsewhere and they can't trace it, if it were carb straight away I'd say the idle jet, it only cuts out for one of two reasons, no fuel or no spark (i.e. electrical) with fuel injection it's probably more simple, I would strongly suspect the TPS (throttle position sensor) is either faulty or not set up correctly and just altering the mapping in the ECU won't cure that totally, but they will know that (I hope). They are fantastic bikes when running but can be temperamental, the electrics are renowned, but you're the boy for that. Sure you're going touring to Italy on it??

Did they fix the mapping?? on modern bikes any fault now seems to be the mapping.

Theres some interesting documentaries on youtube, being bored in the winter I watched quite a few, although I'm skeptical too many ordinary people with sound backgrounds have seen these things, so my gut feeling tells me theres something out there I wonder if they know how to make me win at COD?? surely their technology can't be that far advanced??

I've spent 45 years travelling the world I've literally travelled millions of miles, bloody awful place, I've retired and sworn not to venture more than 150 miles from my house, and the most I've been in last two years is 75, bloody marvellous to sleep in your own bed, eat good food, drink good drink etc etc home is where the heart is. Right just got back, in a stroke of rare genius I saw that one of the SOS boys who plays on our sniper server was online (Noriyuki) so invited him to encourage others to join, we played 2 full games and no one joined in at all?

I watched the server and it filled up quickly after you left (Beers) this morning, and precictably the acemod was empty, not one person joined the acemod in one full hour (i.e. redirected) so they are seeing the server full and leaving. Ah ha I said it's because no one else is on, so I joined, but left as no one else joined, this server is running empty 99% of the time now. I've got some time to kill so I'm going on it now again to see if anyone at all will join.

To me, (that being my personal taste,) and having drunk beer from the age of 10 when my father used to bring me a small bottle on a Friday night, and full illegal drinking in pubs at 16 onwards plus a lifetimes beer tasting worldwide, beer loses it's individual tastes (i.e. malty or hoppy) once it gets above 4%. All you can taste is the alcohol, the flavour disappears the stronger it gets, people seem to associate strength with 'good', not so if you want to enjoy it, good if you want to lie in the mud or make love to women you would not normally touch, so you takes your choice, me it's taste every time, unless I meet an ugly woman, strangely all the women I used to meet used to ask for 8%+ ?????????????

If you'll join me I'm going there now lol, I did say in another post you can never please everyone can you?, but its a real pity to see that server constantly empty now whereas before it was doing quite well, my knifing skills are slipping and need honing (pun intended). But seriously anything above 16 even on the larger maps gets ridiculous sometimes, now I realise a lot of the guys enjoy that - fair enough, but I also know a lot of us like it a bit less hectic.

I'm so so happy - I beat Corsica this morning, what a start to the day lol!
