Trying out a new gametype on the test server.
A free-for-all elimination game with various additions. Five rounds and there is no traditional time limit. Instead there is an elimination timer. After the first kill of the game (first blood) a server timer of 5 minutes starts. If a kill is made by any player the timer is reset. However if no kill is made and the timer expires a random player will explode. There is no weighting on who is killed. It can happen to anyone. In a larger server the timer will be less, depending on the number of players. More players = shorter timer. Eventually there will be only one player left standing. Either due to player kills or elimination.
All players start with an empty pistol and a knife. At random intervals care pacakges are dropped that contain one of the following types with a random item. Primary weapons with iron sights, attachments, perks, explosives, also armor & ammo. The item is not known until it is taken. If a new primary is taken the old one is lost, along with its attachments. Players may have three perks. If a fourth is taken the oldest of the current three is lost. One explosive allowed, which can be frags, c4, clays, chinalake, or rpgs. Minefields are distributed around the map. They all start as inactive. At random intervals three become active.
