Most humans can't even walk and chew gum at the same time. Now, along comes this dog to show us all up... https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=757387750965460 Not sure - you might need a Facebook account to watch that. Facebook is too lame to let you grab an embed link to one of their videos.

This came to me overnight as a DM tweet to my radio station's (Girls Rock Radio) Twitter account. Not within my stations musical niche even though the genre is fine and certainly would get airplay otherwise. But beyond that, OMG - this guy is Awesome. He should meet up with Orianthi...

Your case is off the hook expensive! Take a look at this one. I just build 2 PCs with these cases - they're awesome. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004K4TEA4/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004K4TEA4&linkCode=as2&tag=girlsrockradi-20&linkId=KZTOXMZ6KN7YKZEP Video review on the case: Your paying a premium on that Corsair PS. It's probably made by Seasonic anyway. Cut out the middleman for some savings. Good call on the Platinum, but Gold is probably just as good. Beyond a certain point in these ratings, you're splitting hairs anyway. I OC'ed the shit out of a i7-950 (128% of rated speed) for 5 years on a Bronze 850 and never had a hiccup out of the PS. Lower power consumption in the Haswell processors translates to less power required of the PS, so you can likely go 750W and still be operating within the PS's sweet-spot power output range. If you're going dual video cards, stick with the 860W or higher depending on what the video cards are going to need. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151087 I think that wide radiator is going to give you fits in the case - almost any case. Be really careful. Scan YouTube for build videos of that radiator and your intended case. I went with a single-wide Corsair radiator. They fit in almost any case. Completely pleased. Not sure there's all that much more efficiency in the wide ones. But if you're really trying to push the edge of OC performance on a close-loop radiator system, go for it. Not sure where you're going with that 256GB SSD. Personally, I'm not a fan of them as a boot device at this time. I think the technology needs time to mature into that role. For now, SSDs might be great as a host drive for games, which will then load up WAY faster. But again, IMHO, the PC's boot-time is a poor reason to go for a SSD as a boot device. You boot once. You load programs, games, and data all day long after that one boot. So where does it make sense to put the high speed drive - boot, or selected programs/data? Go 16 or 32GB on the RAM. 8 is painfully small these days, but 32 may be overboard; you're call on that one, but not 8, okay? I have 32. Forget the ROG RAMDISK that comes with that Mobo, btw. I was not impressed. Make sure the RAM specs are appropriate for your processor and mobo. Didn't see a video card.

Permissions Checker App for Android. Don't install apps without it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mypermissions.mypermissions&hl=en

I know NOTHING about this utility, and if you install it, watch out in case there's crapware in the installer. But this does claim to do a clean uninstall of display drivers - both AMD and NVIDIA - and it does come from what I believe to be a reputable source. If it saves you a reformat and Windows reinstall, I think that's worth it right there. Changing video cards should never require a reformat/windows reinstall to get things sorted, but I do understand that sometimes a driver doesn't gracefully uninstall like it should.

DM Revenge Spawn
djMot replied to Merlin007's topic in Call of Duty: World At War's Call Of Duty: World At War Discussion
Are you going to tell me that YOU don't take advantage of a revenge spawn when YOU get one? This is a discussion about double standards, nothing more. Sometimes you're the bullet, sometimes you're the bitch. Deal with it. -
Move the following folder to safety before formatting. When you are done and have re-installed the game, it's patches and PunkBuster updates, move the folder back to where it was: C:\Users\<your windows account name>\AppData\Local\Activision

Could someone just lock this thread already? We've said what needs to be said. Quit bitching and proposing "solutions" to the problem and just go game peacefully. And if a betty takes you out now and again, deal. If it's a repeated issue with a certain player, advise an Admin and let it go. The Admin will deal with the situation, and in the meantime, shut up about it and get back to playing. We have other servers if you're not happy with the one you're playing on. And we host other games. Think this one's a bitch? Go on over to BF4 and have your ass handed to you repeatedly and see how you feel then. Oh, and no whining over there either. NOW, MOVE THE FUCK ON ALREADY

Hey @@2_MANY_BEERS - Both mp_78kwai and mp_vm_river are GREEN in the testing spreadsheet for Nam FreezeTag. Any reason you can think of not to get them running again? I don't think I've ever seen mp_78kwai. On any server. Okay - I just checked and... mp_78kwai is in Rotation#29 which was in rotation about a month ago. mp_vm_river is annotated in the comments as removed for "complaints" on 03/12/14 but it's actually also in Rotation#29 .

No, Harry, I don't see it that way at all. At least I, for one, am NOT telling Dean to fuck off. What I am doing is upholding the rule of this Clan on COD WaW servers that spawn camping, and bettying is not allowed. Further, if if there is no way to enter the primary field of play except by exiting a tunnel, and that tunnel exit point is being bettied/camped, the net effect is the same as directly camping/bettying the spawn point itself. I think he is justifiably angry that there has been an apparent overturning of this rule by another Admin. Regardless of whatever was actually said in-game, any overturning of the rule is simply not the case. The rules stand as they always have. What I find disturbing, among other even more troubling issues with all of this, is the frequency with which this seems to come into question. I really don't get what some people don't understand and why we have to keep regurgitating this shit over and over and over!

No such decision has been made! Where are you getting this kind of bullshit from Dean? Betties in spawn is a violation of the gaming rules on our servers. Obviously, mistakes will happen - even experienced players are incapable of knowing/remembering where each and every spawn point is. But when a player blatantly spawns and drops a betty in a tight radius around where they just spawned, or are repeatedly observed going to a known spawn point and dropping one, they will be warned/kicked/banned according to XI protocol. How many fucking times are we going to have to go over this? And no. These servers do not run on majority vote, and they never will be. They are run on sound gaming server administrative procedures that have been established for the enjoyment of all players. If we listened and catered to the whim of every whiner out there, we would barely be able to play the game at all. Tell you what - why don't we drop all the betties, marties, double-taps, parachutes, knives, and guns. Each player will spawn with a fucking club and a bag of rocks. No, wait... That won't work either. Someone will complain that we're throwing rocks too soon after spawning, and the clubs are so goddamn heavy that they swing around and knock the clubber unconscious. Nothing works. How about some boxing gloves then. WTF. Man up people. Buy Windows 8.1 for crying out loud! (had to be said! ) If you have a problem with one or more of the Admins, Dean, take that up as a seperate matter with blackcat, labob, or myself in a private message.

Happy birthday blackcat.

For those of you who are not Facebook friends and not able to see this as it goes down, and for those who may wonder why I'm not around on as much over the next couple of days, this is why. And this is only phase 1 of the Great Transformation...

Good Morning Idiots and Guests. As of this morning, all servers have swapped in new map rotations for your strategic advantage , your virtualized enemy neutralization pleasure , and to save you from the boredom of playing the same maps over and over and over . All apart of the friendly service around here. Enjoy. That is all. Resume gaming!

New Rotations 2014.09.21
djMot replied to djMot's topic in Call of Duty: World At War's Call Of Duty: World At War Discussion
As in...? You want a list of the maps coming into rotation with the update? -
I think the short answer is that we're looking at what mods work well on Linux servers vs Windows servers with an eye toward obtaining dedicated servers of our own rather than renting shared server space. It's a strange period of trial and error that we're going through that may well end up with us having a greater variety of great COD5 WaW servers rather than 2 popular and 3 mostly ghost-town servers. But we need to know what works well where first.
