Do not run multiple AV programs together - that's redundant, wasteful of computer resources, and may conflict in unexpected ways. Do not download MS Security Essentials from Major Geeks or anywhere other than from Microsoft here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security-essentials-download If you're on Win8 - forgetaboutit. It's already installed and should be running. No additional AV required. Check the security app in the Control Panel if you need to verify that. Where is the XP version of MSSE? Doesn't exist. Who cares? XP is dead. Not supported. Move on. Or use Avast or some other 3rd party freeware.

Start in Safe Mode w/ Networking (tapping the F8 key immediately after the power-on self test) and see if you can get in that way. Then use msconfig.exe to eliminate unnecessary programs at boot-up. You can add them back in one at a time if necessary to figure out what's going amuck. Could be anything. Rogue program. Corrupt video driver... Who knows, but these are the initial steps you need to take.
