I hear you brother and totally agree @Ruthless.  I'm an analyst now for a large credit union but previously  I was an IT manager for a bank.  It wasn't that bad though since I had a small hand picked staff.

I'm a quality and procurement manager for a worldwide brothel chain owned by the renowned multinational MaleAndFemaleInstitution&Association. I search and test products from all nations for placement within my Company's real estate portfolio. Times are hard at the moment, however rumour has it that I may find suitable candidates within these forums according to some of our clients who can't be named for legal reasons @BUDMAN @TBB and @Sammy.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with @Icequeen???  🤣

Izumi, my brother from another mother! I to am a Sr. Network Engineer for a gas company that has 40 locations in 3 States. I to have been banished to work from home for the rest of my career. My company sold our corporate headquarters (3 multistory buildings), where I had an office for 20 years and bought another property with only 2 buildings and a plot of land to build a 3rd. Covid hit, and they decided to never build the 3rd building as we work so well from home. I have been working for this natural gas utility going on 22 years now, prior to that I was a TAC engineer for Cisco system, a supervisor for Hitachi laptop support, and I started my carrier as PC support for Gateway Computers (Windows 3.1 / Windows for Workgroups). So I have been in IT for 32 years now.

These are our two new buildings.

Similar to a few others.  My title is "Senior Network Engineer" but it may as well be "Professional CoD player, cyclist, runner, Youtube content viewer..." since our CIO made all IT jobs 100% remote when the pandemic hit due to retention and lack of talent applying for work.

I just started to try to sell my overlay for streaming, just started doing this besides just streaming my game playing. not a whole lot of money coming in, comes in little by little from just streaming alone and just started to make some "profit" off of doing some artwork logo for a youtube friend of mine.

here is a sample of my overlay i did for myself without all the extra stuff i use during my streams.

Started 44 years ago at a global automobile paint finishing company named Durr. A German company with our office in the Detroit area, in 1978 I started as a production worker for one year. You might say I "discovered electricity" and transferred into the electrical department, where I learned & built control panels for the equipment. Started EE school at night, moving from wiring, to design, service and eventually hardware & software engineering (I have been the Electrical Engineering Manager for the last 8 years). The company branched into automation in the late 80s (Durr Automation), then automation and industrial washers in the 2000s (Durr Ecoclean) and finally we now do only specialized washing equipment (Durr sold us in 2016 and now are just Ecoclean, Inc). When I started, we were in primarily in the automotive and tractor companies, but now we're in MANY industries. I have been fortunate enough, through my employer, to have travelled to many places I might not have otherwise (Venezuela, Mexico, and many western European countries - Canada don't count, since its only one hour away!). I even met "ANIMAL>XI<" (COD2) in Aachen, Germany for a beer! Hoping to retire in the next couple of years!

Senior IT manager for a state agency - previously a software engineer - which I may go back to. Management is often boring... I am only a manager again because I hate working for dipshits and IT tends to attract a lot of bad managers. Or rather IT attracts people who want to be in management that have no business being there.
I manage many introverts and interact with people that can be very 'sensitive'. I have to be Politically Correct at all times and always watch what I say. Than can be difficult.
That is why I enjoy playing on an adult server and I am an asshole most of the time in-game - to let it all out. FU all.
I don't mean it personally and I love you all. As hard as it is to believe, I am actually a nice person in real life and good to work with / for. 🙂

I work for a large insurance company in IT.  I do access management.  It is all very boring and I create accounts for new hires and add whatever access they need to do their jobs.  Best part is I get to work from home so I don't have to go too far away from the bathroom!  Haha!
