  6. My younger brother and his business partner own this company in Canada. They have stores and warehouses in 3 Canadian provinces and a large mail order clientele. They’ve made a living out of playing with the toys they love! He can do some amazing things with these drones. Needless to say I’ve watched some awesome videos. I can’t even drive one of their RC cars. https://www.greathobbies.com/
  7. I know right now at 5:57 am it’s only 36F. We didn’t see any mosquitos lol! The forecast calls for a few days at 59F this week! Very balmy
  8. May 1st opening day on this watershed. We nicknamed this lake HEARTBREAK Lake. We’ve had some great days fishing this lake and then there’s all those other days lol. Today was a great one all together the 2 of us hooked 9 fish released 3 lost 2 and kept 4. We took home 2 Brown trout and 2 landlocked Salmon. The limit is 2 fish each ant combos the 2 species. The bench the 4 fish are sitting on is 22 inches for comparison.
  9. Great hats, love the camo!

  11. Actually in August they are not as good as May, June and July. The water warms up too much. The May fish are fantastic

  13. Our rivers here in New Brunswick are mow open. We are in spring flood stage. There will be a lot of floating debris in the rivers right now. Lakes would be safer. We are very fortunate here in NB to have a fantastic river system to boat in. It's the Saint John River and it's tributaries. Hundreds of miles of great boating. Here is one article describing the river a little bit. https://www.canadianyachting.ca/destinations/canada/1199-cruising-the-rhine-of-north-america-st-john-river-new-brunswick Traditionally we here in NB wait for the flood stage to be over in another couple of weeks. May 23 will be our long weekend, that is traditionally the first big boating weekend. May 1st is the opening day of trout lake fishing, I'll be there!
  14. This is the legume inoculant I’ve used likely 10-15 different growing seasons. Not really sure it worked for me. I started using it 40 year’s ago but have since stopped. I have not noticed anything special about this one. Again it’s specific to legumes
  15. It could be a fishing story? Blind EELS!

  19. I have some good friends in the state of Iowa. I’ve travelled down 5 times over the years to hunt pheasants on their land. The first year they told me they were tilling 6000 acres, they also left a very high % of a res in CRP. As years passed the grandchildren all started to acquire more farms. Every year I went there we attended at least one farm auction. As a family operation they look to increase the size of the acreage they till. I’ve not been back for 8 years but I believe they were tilling 10,000 acres at that time. Now to the point! They showed me many TOPO maps from the state of Iowa clearly showing the thickness of the topsoil on every property in the state. Where I live a property would be lucky to have 12 inches of topsoil. Iowa has topsoil from 2-14 FEET! I was shocked. I have walked and driven on thousands of their acres and I am mesmerized at the quality of the topsoil. Is is like nothing I’ve ever seen. I have literally taken out TONS of rocks from my 6000 plus square foot gardens, I’ve added sand, compost, wood chips peat moss manure, and leaves to my soil and yet My topsoil is only 12 inches. @Timmah! contact your EU to see if they have similar maps showing the soil quality and quantity in the areas you are looking. As suggested BRING A SHOVEL. The soil may have been striped off years ago and not recorded. Poor soil can be improved with many free amendments old leaves in the fall sawdust from a local mill. Get a trailer or truck gather free manure from small backyard chicken coops etc. The most important thing when you’ve made your choice GET THE SOIL TESTED free from the EU I think. Depending on the size of the garden I would suggest you buy a TROYBILT tiller buy the hoarse by a second hand one they last a long time and the parts are available. There are many YouTube videos showing how to work on Troybilt tillers. A tractor would even be better lol. Good Luck
  20. Is it that good you have to carry a firearm to keep the thieves away? If that’s the case you better charge more lol!
