@AyaqGuyaq Midges are called by many different things. "bite-em no see-em" the french Canadians call them the "BURN FLY" In Canada we have a biting insect so small you can not see it on your skin without great difficulty. They are opaque. almost see through. Their bite sets your skin on FIRE (hence the BURN FLY) They are ruthless and bite like an alligator or rattle snake! Well if they were the same size as an alligator or rattle snake they could wipe out a small town in one evening! They are so small they can pass through a normal window screen. My camp windows have special tighter woven screens to keep midges out. Midges are many different flies of many different species But where I live in Canada we are referring to those little bastards mentioned above! I was professionally Guiding out of a Salmon Lodge on the Miramachi River in 1996. The pool we drew one particular morning I knew would be FULL of Bite-em no See-em's I warned my Sports of the impending assault we were about to receive. I insisted everyone put on DEET to help combat the inevitable "no my sports said we don't believe in using DEET. Point taken I sad BUT I really strongly suggest for this one occasion it's advisable to apply a liberal application of the nectar of the Gods DEET!. Well 15 minutes standing on the banks of the river I see out of the corner of my eye my sports starting to experience the full onslaught of a wonderful hatch of the BURN FLIES. Obviously I didn't let on I noticed lololololololol. Oh about another 5 minutes went by and the sports spoke up "Gee you weren't kidding these things are eating us alive, How can you stand it?" I could have told them I didn't have my DEET but I think they learned a hard lesson. When you Hire a guide listen to him! I chuckle every time I think of that morning. Midges I HATE them.

I bought this Charcoal unit 2 years ago It's awesome as well. I will say the Weber Kettle I have at my Fishing/Hunting camp controls the temperature better. Since I purchased this model Napoleon has upgraded the bottom ash collector/temperature air controls. I still love it. This Model is made in China but the quality is great.

Just bought this bad boy! All paid for Just picking it up mid week. Made in Ontario Canada. This is my second Napoleon Propane BBQ. See the post bellow for my Kettle. The warranty is awesome.

new pc working but still have minor issue

I had a 500 GB SSD filled that with win 10 and office. With Battlefield 1 and 5 I had to get a 1TB ssd. Those games use allot of space. Win 10 and office are very large as well. -
Makes a parent proud when our children succeed in life! Congratulations that’s a big accomplishment for her.

Fifty Yard Group Excalibur Accuracy
WeednFeed replied to WeednFeed's topic in Hunting, Shooting, Fishing, Boating
Thanks everyone, I won’t be shooting groups anymore lol! -
Everyone told me NOT TO SHOOT GROUPS with my new Excalibur Micro 355. They claimed these Excalibur Crossbows are so accurate I would ruin my bolts (arrows). I should have listened. This is my FIRST group at 50 yards, on a bench rest one rabbit ear bag up front.
-
I really have no Idea. For me it would be maybe 50 yards with a good rest. On you tube many folks are shooting deer farther. It would be irresponsible to shoot at distances without using a range finder. Crossbows and all bows have quite an arc in the trajectory. Knowing the exact distance is crucial. The scope with mine is graduated 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 yards. I have never shot a deer with any kind of bow. I have not hunted deer in over 20 years but before that I harvested 21with a rifle, all but one were under 50 yards, one was 75 yards. As with all hunting shot placement is the key. Risky shots should always be passed up.
-
Yes I bought it it was $999.99. That's $300 off the package and $100 bellow the price of the bow by itself. The crank that came with it is a god send. The bow is 280 pounds pull using the rope cocking aid it is 140 pounds pull. I can cock it with the rope but more than a few times is MURDER. It is a Micro so the limbs are very short hence the 280 pound pull. It's a sweet shooter. @RIPZILLA

I have no idea about American taxes! If you really want to be Taxed to death move up here, Canada. You that great health care we have. How do you think we pay for that? I pay just about 45% income tax, every time I purchase that’s not real food I pay 15% sales tax. Our gas has a federal tax, a provincial tax and now our Liberal government just added carbon tax and to top it all off we pay that 15% sales tax compounded over those 3 other taxes. Im depressed

Wow Greed over safety. Sad for all the families. Thanks Cod
