My whole family has COVID. Wear a face mask. Consider that you might be an asymptomatic carrier and are spreading it because you aren't covering up. We have worn them since the beginning, but we live in a resort town that has been overrun by mask-less vacationers. None of our friends have it. We got it from somebody in a public space who thought they didn't need to wear one. That people are still refusing to do such a simple thing is mind-boggling to me. Quit rationalizing why you don't need to.

I've been on the XI site for 7 years and I'm finally getting to the intro. My real name is Duffy, so I get confused sometimes when playing with Duffy>XI<. I'm also 55 years old and love whiskey, so I just get confused sometimes anyway. I live in SC with my family and work as a developer - primarily web dev, but work in VR and other technologies.
I was a member of DPG clan until recently. I left the clan because I hadn't played on their servers or participated actively in 5 or 6 years. As soon as I discovered Freeze-Tag servers in COD4 (F4H and a couple others before I found XI), that was where I played. It's always been my preferred mod for FPS (years ago, I was a member of a MOHAA Freeze-Tag clan, BUR). This game and this server are all I play now. Don't have a lot of time for gaming and I'm a Mac user, so not a lot of options either.
I guess that's all I got for now. See you in game (or likely not, which is why I get killed often)!

We'll see, Yacc. They went from 2013 - 2019 without a new MacPro. The Garbage Can Mac has the same issue as an iMac, lack of internal expansion capability. Now they give us the new MacPro at $5999 for the base. That's 2.5 times what I paid for my 2009 MacPro. That lasted me 10 years, before the coughing and wheezing made me grab a 2012 (free from a friend). I always got years and years out my Macs, now they all seem destined to be EOL in 5 years.

To all of you Mac haters - if it's any consolation, after 33 years I now hate Apple too. Completely abandoned the desktop market for 8 years and then finally come out with a new one that starts at $6K!! FU, Apple!! But I've also used Windows since 3.1 and...  fuck that shit too.
I'm a man without an OS.

Was a quiet ending to a day.  The town- Vine Grove- is well-familiar to me as it's where friends live(d), one of the places I went & go fishing, hiked, camped, carnally recreated, worked tobacco, baled hay, hunted & many other things.  It, & the surrounding countryside with manifold more small towns very much like it in demeanor & vibe are a part of me & I hold dear.  Since I drive these streets 12 hours a day 5-7 days a week, it occurred to me make a post chronicling the area I've grown up along with other thing of interest I happen upon;  for my benefit &, perhaps, the mild amusement of others.  I traveled through no less than ~15 different towns today alone;  took some pictures & video of things that gained my attention for whatever reason & this is one of the places where they'll reside.  They turned out nicely for a camera phone & caught the mood I feel there on a sleepy summer night.  The echoes of times past resonate with me in the area & prompted me to stop & take those pictures. 

Exactly my thought, Funky. Timmah's breaking into places while his town sleeps. I'd like to see more, like maybe pictures of his neighbors sleeping.
