  1. Good to see your back . . . I hope your feelin better.
  2. Hmmm maybe your right @@Sammy the Russians sent operatives over to pee on Hillary's emails and then she deleted the emails with the winning plays for the Dallas Cowboys. No wonder everyone is a little pissy
  3. Can I get one of those cars in Cannabis Green? Such a tragedy that hemp was pushed out of use for manufacturing so many different things by big oil companies. Yeah "Pot Head" does sound derogatory how about "Cannabis Aficionado" . . . .nah . . . wouldn't be able to spell it after taking a couple puffs . . . Pot heads are not dumb or stupid . . . . it may appear that way only because they think about things more deeply which takes time . . . and . . uh . . ..um . . . what were we talking about??
  4. So angry . . this thread isn't about politics @Sammy . . . . it's about football . . .Football!!!
  5. 2 scenarios. 1. Man gets off work and drinks several beers, someone cuts him off driving home and pisses him off. When he gets home he kicks the dog and yells at the wife "whats for dinner bitch"? The wife clocks him in the head with a frying pan and she goes to jail. 2. Man gets off work and smokes a joint, he waves at the driver who cuts him off and when he gets home he pets the dog and asks the wife "whats for dinner baby" The wife says "I was watching TV all day and didn't have time to cook" Man says " that's cool I will have some frosted flakes and ice cream" The man shares his frosted flakes with the dog and falls asleep watching TV. It is scandalous that cigarettes and alcohol are legal and if you are caught with weed they can take years of your life away by putting you in jail!! Cigarettes are guilty of murder. Alcohol has ruined millions of lives and killed just as many. I once challenged my dad telling him to drink 6 beers and I will smoke 6 joints (this was back when you actually could smoke 6 joints) and we will see who is more unfit to drive . . . . . He declined the challenge but he almost stopped drinking completely . . . . . .I was grounded for a week . Grandma @@Belle (that has a nice ring to it . . lol) look me up if your ever down my way and we will burn one
  6. That should fill your freezer. good job! What gun did you use? I always wanted to shoot me a wild hog do they taste as good as what you buy in the store?
  7. I got this new set of pens today and anybody hungry?
  8. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Oh shit . . .a couple days late . . . .screw it I'm early for next year CHEERS!!!
  9. At -12 F trying to stretch a bungee cord is not happening. lol -12 F with a 20mph wind is very close to -40F and it is a brutal kind of cold, If you dress right you can withstand some pretty cold temperatures even though you'll look like the Sta-Puff Marshmallow man. I still haven't found a set of gloves that will keep my hands warm when it's that cold.
  10. I'm sure whatever you decide to wear you will look amazing . . . . .6' eh?
  11. I have been looking at a Traeger . . . anyone have one! My neighbor has one and she is always bringing me something she cooked on her Traeger and its always delicious. She told me to bring my meat over sometime and I could use it whenever I wanted but I would have to bring my own wood .. . .I told her I have plenty of both .. .lol I used to have a mesquite tree in my backyard in Calif. talk about some tasty steaks.
  12. @@CaptDumprope your right every car maker has made a lemon over the years but they are getting better all the time. For me I'm a Ford guy and I think that's because my dad had Fords and that was what I helped him work on so I was familiar with Fords and when it was time for my first car it was my brothers 65 Mustang. You say you have all kinds of tools . .Don't give up you can do this. You can hear the fuel pump when you try and start it and you smell gas the fuel probably isn't the problem, if the gas was bad it would have fired up with the starting fluid Since you tried the starting fluid and it was a no go I would tend to agree with you its a timing/spark issue. Did you double check to make sure you put the plug wires back on right? look on the intake manifold it should have the firing order on it. How did you know that it was the #6 cyl that fired? Do you have a timing light? have you ever used one? Most all newer cars the timing is set and doesn't need to be adjusted but you can check that by hooking up the timing light. also if you move the clamp on the timing light to each plug wire then crank it you can see if the plug wire is getting juice from the Dist without pulling the plug. Take a look at this http://troubleshootmyvehicle.com/gm/4.3L-5.0L-5.7L/how-to-troubleshoot-a-no-start-1
  13. Damn that's a lot of snow . . .that much snow would here would create . . . . .more babies
  14. That is an interesting list some I knew about. The issue of Hawaii shouldn't be on the list since the annexation of Hawaii is not at the same level of "Shocking" as the KKK or lynchings. The accounting of what happened in Hawaii as stated by the U. S. State Department go here: https://2001-2009.state.gov/r/pa/ho/time/gp/17661.htm No country is without shame and I'm not proud of the "ugly" the USA has shown at times but the overwhelming number of good things this country has done in it's 240 year existence makes me proud to be an American.
  15. It can seem pretty intimidating when your car won't start and you don't have any idea where to start looking, You said the fuel pump is working how did you determine that? Is there a fuel filter? your fuel pump might be working just fine but if the filter is clogged it might as well not be working. You mentioned that it had a weak spark did you use a meter or something to test it? Look for something simple that you could have overlooked when you worked on it the last time did you accidentally knock a wire loose or forget to hook up? I've done that a few times. A simple test to determine if the problem is spark related or fuel related is to go to the parts store and buy some starting fluid spray some in the air cleaner and try and start it . . .if it starts and dies then you are getting spark and then look for a fuel problem . . . . . . if it doesn't fire at all your not getting any spark and should check the ignition system. While your at the auto parts store as @@JNashvilleXI said buy yourself a code reader it will help you more than anything.
  16. Is this a recent photo of you @@Sonovabich Nice bow tie . . . lol
  17. The temp here has dropped from 3 deg F to -8 deg F in the last hour and a half headed to somewhere around -15deg F. Not as cold as @@Joe Canadian but still a ass cold. Maybe a trip to Mazatlan for some margaritas in my future . . . or a bunch of beer in front of a heat lamp . . . Have fun @@bds1961 and order a Mai Tai for me.
  18. Hell m stull drankin frum lass yeer . . . . . . Have a great New Year @@little_old_man HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!
  19. I was looking at the pretty lady's face and didn't notice what he was talking about. You're right @@Icequeen it is a nice pic . . don't let comments of a few keep you from posting nice pics like that.
  20. My dog is almost like one of my kids . . you mess with my dog you messin with family! As a responsible dog owner I have taken the time to teach my dog commands for her safety and anyone who comes into contact with her. If you don't have the time to teach your dog then you shouldn't have a dog period. Think about it . . . .your dog sees a tender soft rabbit across a busy street and you know how much she likes to chase bunnies but crossing that busy street would certainly be the end of her so you give the command to stay and problem solved. Had the owner of the dog in your post @@FLDMARSHAL given the command to stand down and not bark those animals would still be alive. Police officers generally don't want to shoot someones pet and I don't think the problem lies with the police officers as much as with the owners of the dogs. In the case with your mother being bitten again had those dogs been trained and cared for properly they would not have attacked. Dogs are pack animals and think in terms of your family is their pack and in this case they were warning the pack by barking and were ready to defend the pack if need be. Dogs will fight to the death to protect you the least you can do as a dog owner is train them.
  21. @@codpiece Enough with the links to historical videos!!! Dang . . . . I cant get anything done for watching videos on Youtube . .lol I get done with one and then click on another and all of a sudden I'm reading about aircraft "incidents" on the NTSB website a couple hours later. I grew up in Ontario CA. about a half mile north of the runway and about a mile west of the end of the runway. The planes took of mainly to the west so I had a front row seat as plane after plane took off and when the wind was from the east I watch them on final approach. When I was in 5th grade (1972) our class went on a field trip to Sacramento, CA (capitol of CA.) and we flew in a Boeing 727 with the tail that lowered for boarding. It was my first flight and I was blown away. I don't recall the year but I will never forget when the supersonic Concorde landed at ONT . .it was sooo loud. Air Force One landed once with President Reagan on board and on final approach garage doors in the neighborhood with automatic openers began to operate randomly . . . lol I guess due to the electronic signals being generated by Air Force One. I didn't know about the training facility at Kingman but I have visited the General Patton museum outside of Indio which was pretty cool. There really is a lot of places around that very few people know about that had a connection to WWII.
  22. @@Sonovabich What you were googling when you "came" across this? They have some sorta device for everything now days . . .
  23. After I watched the first video you posted I kept watching the videos from all the American Airman and then a bunch of other patriotic videos and before I knew it a couple hours went by. Damn Youtube My Dad was Navy (Korea) and my brother was Navy (Vietnam) If I had it to do over I would go Air Force. Flying is one of the most exciting, amazing things man does and at the same time scares the hell out of you. Scaring the hell out you makes respect the aircraft and the job it does. A friend of mine bought a powered parachute and I have flown it a bunch of times, the first time when took off and got to about 500ft I was kinda freaking out but I started looking around pretty soon I was 10 miles away. I had to dead stick once when I ran out of fuel but I was almost over the makeshift runway and managed to make it down without incident. Powered parachutes are very safe since you already have the chute out and wheels down . . no power no problem just float it down and roll out.
