    "Wasn't wearing my holster" laughed out loud for that bit. Agree with everything he said. Everything I have is locked in the safe, where it's useless for protection. Also agree that we're two different cultures, and I'd rather bury an arsenal than trust the direction our LeAdEeerZ are taking us. Guns, I likes em' m8, I'll own up to that!

    Downloaded the .rar file @@Ruggerxi, thanks. I'll expand and install that later. Restored my original Q3 back, I'll keep a stock version along with the modded. There's quite a few 1.32 servers still running, and I'd like to stay compatible with them.

    I liked the story about Germany building a special JU88 to fly at very high altitude for reconnaissance. First flight over England, it was shot down by a Mosquito. The RAF had anticipated something like that, and was ready.

    Downloaded the new .exe, deleted the old .exe, and: K-rash. Now what? Put the old .exe in and it brings up the game, but won't download maps.

    Hmmm, I would use a third party bootable, Slackware Puppy or Parted Magic, to scope out your drive. If it functions at all, Linux will let you know, and allow you to save data from it. A USB cradle that allows you to view your unstable drive from a temporary operating system is another option. I have a Maxtor 300g that crashed on me recently, and I couldn't view it as slave, or a USB. Makes me wonder what killed it, but nothing I have on any HD is a game killer. Set it aside and move on.
