    Correct SOB. I always turn mine off until spotted by an aircraft. Once spotted I turn it on so my AA can fire and in some cases it will chase than plane away. This works best if it is a spotter plane. If it is a squadron of fighters it might work also. However, if you are targeted by dive bombers or torp bombers it won't matter. The best thing to do to hide is smoke.

    There is also a Holiday Inn just down the street from the NH Kensington. It is good also and I have stayed there a few times. However, I prefer the NH for the reasons listed above.

    For London I really like the NH Kensington, It is close to the subway and is right on a bus stop. Also, it is very easy to get a cab. It's very close to downtown london and there are a few museums are close by. You can walk to the VA museum. There are two grocery stores close by and several restaurants. A bank is on the corner for easy ATM access. Also, each room has a refrigerator which is key! The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is nothing fancy but it is clean and convenient. I like staying there and have been there many times.
