  1. It is more likely that they have adjusted their key bindings, it is a common practice in gaming and many of our admins use it for things such as recording demos. It is generally controlled by the config files of the game, so the same way you have 'w' bound to the action 'move forward' etc. I guess it could be called scripting.. but it's not really. Every player has adjusted this family of settings whether they know it or not so we cannot determine who has changed what and it would not work if everyone had the same settings as the majority have differing hardware, you would have to go to a console platform if you wanted that.
  2. Aye that's great - well done to the Minecraft admin team for their time and commitment to the game
  3. Because we always have, COD4 is a very old game and we simply would not have a player base if we left things the same. Trying out new mods and setups is the reason that server is popular, if we left it alone and did not change things it would have the traffic similar of Freeztag Server 1, that mod has enough traffic to warrant a dedicated server however will not reach the levels it did when it was the 'new mod'. We tried having previous versions of the MW2 mod on dedicated servers however they gained very little traffic, not enough to keep them going. Players hang around until they become bored of the mod then they will find somewhere else, members are here for the long haul so will undoubtedly notice change more and there will be players that joined XI because of a certain mod version that do not like the newer mods.
  4. In this case clearing the image cache is doing nothing. You are accessing the https:// version of the site rather than the http:// version. As states above the https:// version is being worked on.
  5. It seems like you are perhaps playing the wrong server/mod then. If you are not a fan of those features you could try the freeze tag 1 server. Give it a try
  6. The https version is currently being worked on, when finished I will convert it over that all users access the website through it. Generally it opens up new technologies to be used and keeps data more secure
  7. Would you be accessing the https version of this website by any chance?
  8. Can you show a screenshot of it please?
  9. oh that is sexy, what I mean by logos was the icons, they are 15 x 15. Although to be honest I don't think it needs it Thanks
  10. Version 0.58

    78 downloads

Tool for easy playing demos of game Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. You can use slowmotion, faster playing, freezing demo, toggle third person view, toggle view HUD info and some keys for cheathunters. Installation and run: 1. Download file cod4player.zip (227 kB, cod4player.exe + readme.txt). 2. Just unzip file "cod4player.exe", but rather don't put it into the COD4 folder. Then simply run it. Controls: * In main screen click on the keybord to show info about controls. * You can set association demos in Setup menu and then just click on demofile to playback. Restrictions: - If You have CoD4 just as copy on HD (no info in registry), cod4player ask You for path to iw3mp.exe. - Windows Vista: When get this error "Permission denied", run cod4player as Administrator (right mouse on cod4player ad select from menu Run as..)
  11. Icons shouldn't matter as far as browser. The website core is fully compatible with all browsers and meets all compatibility standards, the only stuff that has issues is he features that I have added.
  12. cod2/4/5/minecraft
  13. I finished the Punkbuster legacy guide: It's a little quick but supports all gametypes and installing/updating.
  14. I'm looking for someone to make a image for the website, nice and simple. No more than 175px by 250px. I'm setting up a guides/walkthrough section and would like to link to it from the homepage, I have dubbed it the '>XI< Bible' so looking for an image of a older style book with perhaps the game logos incorporated. Can anyone help with this?
  15. Perhaps we try an open style wiki, rather than a single guide we have something like this: http://www.xtremeidiots.com/page/xi-bible.html I added loaders guide in to see how it would work.. it would work like a wiki in that everyone can edit everything (changes need approval). The more people that get involved the more useful stuff we have on there. It would be in a single place and we can have a link on the top bar rather than the content being in multiple forums. Not sure on what 'fields' the database would need other than title and instructions so open to input on that.
  16. I'll tell you what.. if someone writes such a guide I will make sure that it ends up somewhere prominent on the website.. we will call it the 'holy book' of XI. However.. it must, absolutely must, contain screenshots! because there are idiots here who seem to only respond to them. Like screenshots with big red circles where to click and stuff!! I have been working on a PB one today to try and clear up some confusion of that tbh..
  17. No host is going to restart a full box once a week, they are designed and should run with no problems for months with no problems. In this case it is more likely to be network related and not hardware. The location of the network problem does seem to be at the data centre end however.
  18. Good suggestion however we cannot use that.
  19. The Ace mod is on shared hosting with DM1 if I recall correctly. The host restarts the full box maybe once every couple of months.
  20. As you signed up with Facebook it is integrated into your account, if you PM me a temp password I can change the login type to local. Your username would change to the same as your current display name.
  21. We cannot assist with the appeal process to PBBans/Evenbalance you will have to do that. Appeal closed.
  22. TDM is fixed anyway, not sure why it was down to be honest.
  23. The TDM was unaffected by the filesystem failure s it is on a different drive, I would assume someone has been doing something with the TDM.
  24. Yeah TDM downtime isn't related to the main server. The filesystem corrupted, unsure of the reason which meant the OS would not start. It has now been restored however looks like some files were corrupted.
  25. So you want it on the right instead of the left?
