People play where the majority go m8, always happened like this we have tried to coax them out, it works for an hour or so then everyone drifts back to the other server.

Think it is only most Europeans have a higher ping in the Chicago server, but with all the lag on the New York server recently it don't make any difference my ping is all over the place in that server sometimes, the ping only goes up about 20 points in Chicago server anyway, it don't bother me.

Building your own rig is the only way to go, and once you've done your first one, you'll never want to buy another "off the shelf" system.
If you plan on keeping some of your older components such as dvd or bluray drives, or card readers, that will help some, not much, but some. and a 22" monitor is plenty good, I wouldn't waste money on another till that one quits.
Just focus on the box and it's guts.
There are plenty folks here to help when you start ordering stuff, just hollar.

Thank you all for the condolences and well wishes. My wife sat here reading each and every one with tears streaming down her face.
 
For those who were wondering, a couple years ago we got another yellow lab to help keep Ozzy active and from getting bored. She was 2 when we got her and her name is Moe. For the moment we're a one Lab family, but Moe is a handful and loves to play. She's still trying to figure out where Ozzy went but we're keeping her busy.

I didn't realize it until a couple hours ago, but my wife snapped a picture of my daughter and me saying our final goodbye to Ozzy just after the vet administered the sedative. By the time the final injection came a few minutes later, he was sound asleep and no longer in pain. I wish all humans could leave this world as dignified and loved as some of our K-9 companions do.
 

It's always a rough time when a family pet is lost. They can become as much part of the family as anyone else.

In late 1996, my wife surprised me by coming home from the local dog shelter with a beautiful 2 year old yellow lab. His name was Ozzy, and the previous owners kept him locked up in a back yard and were upset that he knocked over their toddler.  My wife fell in love with him the moment she laid eyes on him, and so did I.
 
It was immediately obvious to us that Ozzy was great with kids, and even when our (then) young kids crawled all over him, he didn't mind a bit.
 

 
 
 
Ozzy and I bonded quickly, and he rarely let me out of his sight.
 

 
 
In the 15+ years that he was part of our family, he always went on vacations with us and was never left alone for more than an hour or two.
 

 
 
Until a few days ago even at his advanced age, he was healthy, happy and very active.
 
 

 
 
 
Today at 5:35PM PDT, our 4th child Ozzy finally left this world for the big room full of tennis balls in the sky. We lost a member of our family today and feel like our hearts have been ripped out. But we have 15+ years of memories and thousands of family photos to remember him by.
 
Goodbye old friend. I hope you are at peace and there to greet all of us who loved you when our time comes.

If you were banned for VIOLATION (AIMBOT) 50710, you are now able to play on our servers again. Punkbuster will still be running on our servers but we are now able to control the bans on the server side. So if this glitch happens again to you all you need to do is contact a Sr admin and we will be able to remove the ban. The only thing different is that we won't be streaming PBBANS to our servers anymore, until they get there shit fixed. So you will not be sent to the master PBBANS list and banned from all PB streaming servers. For those that are on that list there is nothing I can do to help you, but hey you don't wanna play anywhere besides here anyways right
 
 
I'm very sorry for the headaches and the downtime from the servers, I hope you enjoy your stay at >XI<

Hell guy's sorry but I wont be playing cod4 for a long while.....I aint getting banned for nothing or risking my record or guid.
And thats the sad part I can see our members moving away from cod4 if this keeps up....which could mean empty servers

but it appears to me that pb is not even interested in investigating this issue or even trying to rectify their mistakes...so guess alot of people just got fukd...must be an activision thing to make more money counting on more ppl needing to buy more games from them...just my conspiracy theory..lol...but serious tells me pb has lost control of their shit..
