We drive to the US once a month to get groceries, fuel, clothing, etc and to eat at a couple excellent Mexican and Italian restaurants in Burlington, Washington. Sometimes we go all the way to Seattle and stay for a day or two. This Sunday we just went to Bellingham, Wa, a 20 min drive from the border. I went to get fuel at Costco and there was a huge line-up. Most cars were Canadian, which is understandable. Gas is usually 99 cents Canadian for a litre in the US compared to $ 1.45 in Canada. We save in average 35 dollars per tank.
I got enraged and felt pretty f embarrassed when I noticed some Canadian assholes filling up their tanks plus not one, or two, but up to six jerry cans, putting them in their trunks and driving back to Canada. Some of these people had children in their vehicles. I have never seen anything like that in North America before. That should not be allowed primarily for safety reasons and also as a matter of politeness towards all the Americans who live in the area and have to endure these greddy assholes...
