I have question about updating cards , my pc is death ,so i play with my wifes laptop.

Can i do an update for a videocard in a laptop ???

system is Acer  aspire 7535G with a ATI Mobility Radeon HD4750 up to 1471 MB Hypermemory.

I'm not an expert but I don't see why not.I use custom install cause I don't want Lord of the Rings installed.Just uncheck that box.Should be simple.I just run the program then I usually reboot my PC.

 its not the same with laptops...

search for your drivers at the acer homepage at drivers and download.....

I would be careful with that. I have read on the ATI forums people asking for where the mobility drivers are. So I am unsure if this is the right driver for you. Please do some research/reading first.

A modified inf is needed to run desktop graphics drivers on a laptop.You can do this with the "mobility modder" from Driver Heaven.The 4750 is not supported though,are you sure it's not a 4570?

When using any driver,on a laptop, other than the one from the manufacturer may cause you to lose some features that originally came with your laptop.

okay , sorry gump youre right ,  it is a 4570 not 4750, that's why i'm a member of this family here ,lol.
