I followed Sun Tzu's "Cant play black ops try this" thread to a "T"...twice... and still get nothing when I go to server browser. Does anyone have any other ideas? Do this and you'll be playing in no time. On the Main screen bring down the console by hitting the ~ button. then type /connect 173.199.104.221 Then hit enter button. That is the IP for your most popular BO server. As a clan member you will also have access to our xfire listings , showing you when members are playing Black Ops , send them a message asking to be put on their friends listing in steam , you can also join on them through xfire if you like to the current game they are playing. I tried opening the console as Crazy suggested to no effect. First game I've owned I couldn't open the console, doesn't work on the main screen, server screen or in game at all. Kinda weird. I can open the console all day in Crysis, Fallout etc but not BO. I added the XI servers to my X-fire fravorites but unlike Crysis, when I right click on the server I am not given the option to join, its ghosted out for some reason. I'll try getting in touch with Sun Tzu or Bobslayer and see if they can figure something out. Thank you to everyone for trying to help me with this!! You can't join a BO game by entering the IP, unless they changed it over the last 2 months... it wasn't made to do that, dunno why!
