JohnnyDos Posted April 5, 2011 Member ID: 77 Group: Fallen Members Followers: 111 Topic Count: 1018 Topics Per Day: 0.18 Content Count: 7527 Content Per Day: 1.31 Reputation: 9175 Achievement Points: 69486 Solved Content: 0 Days Won: 47 Joined: 09/02/09 Status: Offline Last Seen: January 8, 2020 Posted April 5, 2011 I need help.The new patch would not download automatically for me so I went and got it and tried to put it in myself.I got a Windows Installer error 1642.So I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and this time it wouldn't even give me the first patch.I got the 1st patch my self and got an error stating that " the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer Service because the program to be upgraded may be missing or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program."Then it tells me to verify that I have the program. Any help appreciated.

Have you tried to download it from somewhere else? I used the Crysis2launcher and the update went fine. Maybe your download one got corupted? http://www.bigdownload.com/games/crysis-2/pc/crysis-2-v12-patch/ Try this one? Awards

Need to figure out some settings, but I believe it is now ranked. Awards
