I know that the killing of one man does not change what happen or bring peace. I have never forgot that day as I went to work for the ISP and got my first call at 8 am central time with a customer asking me why CNN wasn't coming up and then i went to the page and it wasn't there and turned on the tv to see what was going on only to see the planes hit. We as americans have helped so many countries fight for their freedoms only to have them turn on us. I am sorry to say this but what would this world do without us to help. I was at work and heard about the trade center being hit, went to my friends house and watched the second plane hit. Was shocked to say the least. Never had them emotions like that before. Then the first building came down. I never seen anything like it. I had no idea what to do. I was so confused, then the second one hits and i could not think but utter fear of what I just seen. I got a call at work that a plane hit WTC....flicked on the news and couldnt belive it....then the second plane...... I went to a freinds house that has a unobstucted view of the city and the towers....it was astonishing...sad, angry, disbelief....as i was going through all this the first building came down.... I was a stockbroker at the time here in Nebraska and had just gotten to work at the bank. Happened to head to the breakroom to get a soda and the tv was on and there was mass chaos, they originally thought it was a beginner pilot or something. Then, and I remember this like it was yesterday, Katie Kouric and Matt Lauer were on talking about it when the camera showed the 2nd plane hit LIVE. They both just freaked out, it was unreal, like a movie unfolding. That day affected us all in more ways than we can imagine. Our everyday travels, security everywhere, etc. As Crack said, to see people voluntarily jump because they didn't want to burn was something I won't ever forget, just chilling to the bone. For those lost, we need to not stop until every terrorist is dead. Our soldiers know what is at stake and are doing their best daily to carry out those orders.
