It depends if that other motherboard has the same chipset onboard, but NO guarantee at all. Plus your Windows activation can act up again and fail. I think you end up with re-installing again. What I do with re-installing windows is to install for example COD4, patch it up and copy and past from the old drive to the new location. So that I have my settings and maps and all. If you have a empty drive and don't want to mess up your Windows to test in the other hardware is to Clone your drive to the other, to not mess up with new driver detection of that other motherboard/hardware.
