Anyone have any experience with this: COD5 crashes when loading maps with "out of memory - you are probably low on disc space." I have 4GB RAM and several hundred free GB of drive space. Ran updater so maps are current. I may get 2 maps in before it happens; sometimes 4 or 5. But it's going to happen at some point. Not finding much on Google about it.

Try looking at Beers map rotation for what ever server and just have those maps in your user map folder. Just to try it out. See if thats not the problem. Did you ever change your virtual memory setting manually if you have set it back to let windows manage it.

Thanks Labob - will do. Markoff: may your penis shrink with age and your balls droop to your knees (as was the case with me until I had the surgery.)

Delete the maps in the rotation out of your user map folder and use the down loader to reload them for what ever server you are talking about. I had this error before. It went away but I'm not sure this is what got rid of it.

An easy way to see if its the system crashing (maybe) is to go control panel/under system and secutity review your computer status/under maintenance view reliability history. And find the dates you crashed and see what it say's. Under action center you can also go to trouble shooting to test your machine a bit.

Paper I shut down to clear memory, came back up and played four maps with no problems. Only thing I did different was to NOT launch Xfire.
