I am not sure thats what its called but I think I am right! Its the wire from the vidio card to the cpu! I had probs with it and thought it was my video card! Some of you may remember when that happened and I sent my card in for repairs! There was nothing wrong with the card and as I was messing around with it one day cause i quit on me again I happened to be moving that wire around checking connections and It came on and when I looked at it it was broken on the end so it could wiggle and have a bad connection! I have a quad and a 5785 1 gb -so I need a large band wire. I have several small ones but they slow me down a lot! If you have one where maybe you could just mail it to me, I could pay you back in some other form when I get my situation all settled here! Anyway Thanks for your time guys and gals!

If you have a spare Molex lead from the PSU an adaptor cable would do the job.

I am sorry now I see where I made a mistake! What I need is the red one that connects the hd to the cpu! I am an idiot  sorry! Its a red single wire but wide about 18" in length!

hold it a minute  the connector you want is PCI-E  6 wire or 8 wire ,,,,,,,,,,,

 

NOTE the motherboard  8 wire power will fit in video BUT IS NOT SAME for it will smoke the card for polarity is reversed

the sata data or power cable?...i have plenty of both, and i,ll send what you need.......just please stop referring to the motherboard as the cpu...i almost choked on an m and m when i read it....lol
