OK, I found one for you HXTR. Although he is a bit funny looking on this Monopoly money.

Sir. John A. McDonald, Prime Minister from 1867-1873 and 1878-1891. He was the only Canadian I could find in Niagara Falls. And he just happened to be in my pocket.

Hey Gorilla, don't listen to Pete, poutine is just fast food, lol. You should look for a good French-Canadian restaurant and try fondue. There are many kinds: fondue quebecoise (cheese fondue, 3 or more types of cheese with bread), fondue Chinoise (beef, chicken or sea food cooked in broth), fondue bourgenion (meat cooked in wine sauce) and fondue au chocolat for dessert (chocolate fondue and fruit). Get yourself a good bottle of wine, some restaurants allow you to bring your own, you can just buy it at a corner store. Bonne appetit!

Sure Pete, it might taste good but Poutine is not our "national dish", well...we don't really have a "national dish" but we sure have other, better and healthier options :-)

Gorilla, are you coming to the west coast? Let me know.

Cheers

I finally got a chance to take a picture of my new favorite place in Canada. You roll up to the counter after looking at the menu and place your order, and from out of a window on a conveyor belt arrives your order.

Only Ontario has Beer Stores, most of the other provinces have liquor stores that sells everything under one roof. Quebec is the only province that sells alcohol at convienance stores (Dam I wish we had that). I always found beer stores odd for i want to grab my own case and bring it up to the registrar (as like here in Alberta)..

Here in BC we have Liquor Stores, some are private but most are run by the government. We have German beer, Becks, Bitburger, Hacker ( Pete's favourite beer lol), Holsten , etc but highly over priced. That's why I buy my beer in Washington State, the price difference is huge...

Hey any of you Canadians, Is it worth the money to go up to the top of the CN Tower? I'll be in Toronto till Thursday and am trying to think of things to do. I will be going to see the Jays and the Yankees on Tuesday. So any other ideas?
